I'm pretty sure they have a distribution center in Elkhart. Just pop on over & tell them you're a FROG. Maybe they will give u a deal.

Hi,

Another newby question.

I will be towing our fifth wheel to the Rally by myself, perhaps arriving a day or two early from another camping trip up in Michigan. After the Rally I will be then going up to MorRyde to have some suspension work done. So my wife will be arriving Sunday from Illinois, in her car -- an additional vehicle that will be there the whole week.

When she gets there, will it be obvious where she should enter the fairgrounds, and will a copy of our registration be sufficient for her to gain entry? I presume she will have to park our second vehicle in a separate lot somewhere.

Thanks.

Does anyone know if MorRyde will be there and if they do installs at the fairgrounds? I know they have a local shop, but I won't have time before or after the rally to stop by. I'd like to get a SRE 4000 installed along with the wet bolt and heavy shackle kit.

I know they had a peddler there last year - tried to sell me the gear you mentioned saying it was MUCH BETTER than what Wildcat installed originally. I didn't even ask if they would install the stuff at the fairgrounds.

Hi,

I scheduled my wet shackle installation at their Elkhart facility, for the Monday after the Rally.

They have a small camping area at that location for customer use, and were very helpful in setting up my work.

FWIW.

When your wife arrives on Sunday, she should enter the fairgrounds main gate (Gate 2) next to the large electronic Fairground sign which should be displaying a "Welcome FROG" message by then.
- See web site ==> Elkhart County 4-H Fair and Fairgrounds | Home of the great Elkhart County 4-H Fair!

That gate will be manned by a friendly member of the FROG Welcome team, (maybe even "LowBubba" if she is lucky) who can direct her to a suitable parking place.

You can meet pick her up there or she could catch a cart ride to your site from another welcome team member. They will have your campsite number at the welcome desk.

She will not need any registration info the enter the fairgrounds. You will be able to register on the day you arrive, which you can do at the registration desk anytime after you set up you rig on your campsite.

Hope this helps!

The water is pretty much back where it's supposed be now, but Friday and Saturday were pretty scary.

We were ok. Just a little water in the basement from foundation seepage most likely caused by an out of place downspout, but there are many homes in the neighborhood with large piles of water damaged stuff out at the curb.

This is the view of the H Hotel parking lot from the entrance in downtown Midland. Note the roof of a car that didn't get out in time. Also a couple of paddle boarders navigating on Joe Mann Blvd near the mall.

Thanks for asking.

Seems right. I got a call from Elkhart Service today. Agent wanted me to measure a window for him. I went to the Goshen Rally the last two years and this is the first time I've been called.

Yes, and probably knee pads, elbow pads and a chest protector.
