I suspect that the zip line might be something akin to the Southern version of the solar clothes dryer.

I saw a preview of the FROG ZipLine a while back, please sign Cheryl up. I will be responsible for her injuries should they occur.

If you pay attention to announced start time, you will be LATE!

We're planning it for Friday morning, in the area near the clock tower, just east of the outdoor stage. Depending on how I get the seminars scheduled, we might be able to put it under cover in one of the pavilions as well.
I believe that the Amish bake sale from Das Essenhaus will also be about the same time and in the same general area.

MorRyde will be a vendor again this year. They're somewhat limited on what they can install onsite. I suggest giving them a call in advance and telling them what you have in mind, and seeing what they can arrange for you.

Linda, you might not heed a bike helmet for the zipline, but I'd certainly wear one if you're riding under the darn thing!

Thank you all for waiting. We are pleased to announce the first prototype of the All-Star Zip Line. Comments on design flaws and any helpful suggestions to improve this fine attraction are appreciated.

No cad? Intagraph or Autocad,? I do know that paper design. Have you run it past the engineers and architects? They willl never agree but I guess I am asking about the feasibility study. I know it's not like building a walkway but you did the math right? LOL...

I never trust architects. I did some of the math in my head, but I have access to large computers and things that calculate stuff

Lol. . My favorite feasibility term is the "fudge factor". It makes all the math add up...

How about using glow in the dark duct tape on the harness / pants so we can run the zip line at night too. P.S. Would those pants be Depends?

Ummmm, there are several building, including a restroom, the sheep barn, and a rail fence, between the grandstand and R-Pod Village. I don't see where you have made allowance for those obstacles.
This plan MAY need a little bit of re-thinking.
On the other hand, I'm not an engineer, so I may be missing something about how the zip line is going to clear the buildings...
Just a layman's perspective...

Holy crap! That's too funny. That took you less time to make those than it did for me to draw the concept.
Forbes is first in line, test pilot
