Cross post: Thursday Side Tour available
Hello,
Hubs and I are scheduled for the Amish Acres Tour on Thursday, 8/10. This tour leaves at 11:00 am and goes to Amish Acres, attends a performance of "Guys and Dolls" and enjoy Rocket Ice Cream on the way back. We have a conflict and would like to sell or trade for a tour on Tuesday, 8/8.
If interested, please contact me here in the forums. If no one takes it before Monday when the Vendor Booths open, it will be posted in the FROG Office.
Thanks much!!

2017 E450 less than 5000 miles, engine light started blinking right about time to
pull in for the night.
Auto store read the 3 codes: Multiple misfires, misfires on cylinders 1 and 7.
We didn't feel it, everything looks and sounds good.
Service manager said they've had to reflash several of these engines. I hope that's it and hoping for a quick fix.
|
UPDATE: Spent this morning at Paul Miller Ford in Lexington KY. Great bunch of folks got me in first thing this morning.
Couldn't find anything wrong and the codes had disappeared!
We did not clear them when we checked them last night.
There was a service bulletin issued for a different problem and they took care of it while they had it.
Best of all, NO CHARGE for any of it.
No more troubles today and we're at the KOA in Greenfield IN for the night.
Hope to be at the fairgrounds tomorrow!

Our neighbors never heard of a FROG Rally or forum.
I brought them up to date of course.

I plan on making a test run tomorrow morning to the fairgrounds in Goshen, don't like surprises. I just want to make sure I get to the right place, don't want to look dumb if I take the wrong road on Sunday, especially towing my Cedar Creek. I have taken the scenic route enough this year. I'll sure sleep good tonight as it's going to be a little chilly, no A/C tonight.

We rolled into Southwoods RV Resort for the night somewhere in NY. We are in the safari field which is two circles, one big and one small inside the big one. Lots of kids, young mommies and daddies. It's like a big Gypsy field with lots of stuff for the taking after dark. Once the daddies have had their fill of beer and fall asleep, I am planning a covert mission to gather more Awning poles and dog tie-outs to extend the "All Star Zip Line". Maybe we can make it all the way to the food line. I'll be in full ninja mode around 10:30 gathering supplies and maybe raiding a few coolers.

I swear a test run sounds like something I would do.
X2 on the scenic routes!
I trusted Google Maps to get me from Lexington KY to Greenfield IN.
It did fine until we got within 10 miles of the campground and suddenly switched to narrow, barely 2 lane roads through the cornfields, then suddenly back on a highway to the campground.
It was very scenic!
I can see someone at Google laughing their butts off.

I got tickets to tour #7, but I didn't print them. Do I need them on paper to attend? I would hope they have a list of names.

Does Ninja mode happen after some malt drinks or rye infused alcohol?

While DW liked the idea, we didn't know it would be an 8 hour bus tour.
We don't want to leave our 2 pups caged up that long as they're only good for about 4 hours.
Even if we found someone to walk them while we're away she's not excited about, as she puts it, "being on bus tour for 8 hours". She would rather us tour the area by car on our own.
My only suggestion was instead of getting on the bus, we could follow the bus in our car, stop where it stops and head back to the Fairgrounds about 1/2 way through.
Otherwise, does anyone know how to make our tickets available to whoever is next on the wait list, if there is a wait list?
|
Have you decided what to do on Tuesday? I can offer sitting/ walking if you can return favor on Thursday. Signed up for tour and learned through your post that it's 8 hours long! We have one 6 month old pup that will need let out a couple of times .

Joe, we'll have a list of everyone who has seats on each tour. Where your tickets are helpful is if you think we've accidentally missed putting you on the list.

While running through....in Ninja mode of course....be careful you don't trip over one of those dog tie outs you're after and crash through the bicycles, pool toys & become entangled in a couple of folding lawn chairs. Then you could Ninja-like limp back to your site and soak down some more of those malt drinks & rye infused medicine to alleviate the pain!
