We will see y'all there. It is a long tow from here (Durham, NC). About 19,000 miles and 135 days. Did you know from here to there one sees Nova Scotia and the Oregon and Washington coasts?

It just seems like a long haul because of the Atlanta traffic when you're trying to get off the "loop"!

Thanks much for the welcomes!

Just binge-read all the posts here (WHEW!), and didn't see anything, so thought I'd mention: I'm teaching myself clawhammer banjo, and play guitar a bit. If there are any other pickers, I'd enjoy some jamming - can use the practice!

I keep trying to learn to play the autoharp but to me it sounds awful but then I cannot read music and probably have a tin ear. I do love to listen and dance to the beat. Maybe someone else will come along and play with you

I found a short cut! From Mebane, NC (about 25 miles west of Durham) it is only 480 miles.

Any shortcut I can possibly take is still a 900+ mike trip for me. The rally is worth every mile. I usually drive 700 miles take a nap then keep it moving. Safe travels everyone.
