Got home yesterday around lunch and got the FR3 "put to bed" today. We had a great time last week thanks to Chuck and Pennie's efforts, and all the other "Froggers" that were there. It was really great seeing old friends and making several new ones. Our granddaughter, Kylie, enjoyed it so much she's already asking when and where the next rally is. Hope everyone else has made it home or to their next destination safely.

Hope the traffic going home was less hectic than the last 10 laps at Talladega! What a finish!

We are not home, but at our next destination. We are at Stone Mountain, GA. About a 3 hour tow today with little traffic. But, glad we were not going west on I-20. At least a 5 mile backup due to construction and a wreck. Looked as if some of those folks would be delayed at least an hour[emoji35]
We are here for 2 nights.
BamaGanza was great again this year and we are much happier with the new campground. Chuck and Penni are great people and did a wonderful job with the rally. We'll be back next year for sure!

Update on Carolyn (wife of BooBoo)
I received a text from Marvin this afternoon. Carolyn has no brain function. The family will be taking her off of life support tomorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with Marvin and his family. May God rest her soul.
If I hear anything about arrangements I will post it here.
Bill.

Waiting for the fog to lift in Dothan, then about 6 hours to home. Thanks Pennie and Chuck for another successful BamaGanza and to all the others who helped. Really enjoyed seeing everybody again as this is our extended family.

Thanks Penny & Chuck
Great time at the Bama Ganza. Always meeting new people from so many different places. Steve from Cullman, AL, Shorty King from Kings Mountain, NC.
are two fellows to mention, great fellows.
Of course my next door neighbors RJACEINSP & GL1800 Bill, The 5 O'clock
somewhere fellows.
30° hotter here in Florida than north Alabama. On the way home we was able to see some of the hurricane damage along I-75 south of Macon, GA. lots
of bill boards blown and lots of damage to the pecan trees along I-75 that we could view. The trees were blown up out of the ground, not broke off.
We also was able to view a large late in the season corn field flattened, looked
like about 200 acres.
As you can see the header of Thank you Penny & Chuck for a great rally, My hat is off to you for a fantastic rally, sure beat the first one hands down, Thank you.

I have stayed on at River Country Campground for a few extra days -- on Monday, I drove up to Huntsville to visit the Space and Rocket Museum at suggestion of Papaduck and really enjoyed the visit. Sadly, a few exhibits were being updated and were closed, but the weather was good. The Saturn 5 Hall was really impressive and the associated exhibits very well done. Only a few people there, so it was easy to view everything.
In the afternoon, I went to Hampton Cove, one of the venues on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and played the Highland course. I played the White tees at 6,070 yards and shot an 87 (IMHO, not a bad score for an old fa_t that usually plays the Senior Tees). Beautiful golf course. I appreciate the recommendation from Chuck.
Today is a on-again, off-again rain day, so I have been cleaning up the interior of the trailer and have taken down my flagpoles to be sure the flags are dry. And I removed my meager Halloween decorations too, so when I pull out tomorrow, I won't be delayed by the little stuff. Back home to western NC tomorrow.
