does anyone know of a campground in IN or OH which will accomodate 40 rigs and have a clubhouse suitable for holding potluck dinners and a meeting for 80 - 90 people?

There is a campground, about 20 miles east of Indianapolis just outside of Greenfield, Hancock County, called Heartland Resort. I have never stayed there and don't know much about the place. It is pretty large and I do know that have meeting space.

Follow the River in Florence Indiana can certainly handle 40 rigs of any size and they do have a club house. I’ve only been on Memorial Day and Halloween weekends so I don’t know what the rest of the season is like.

Thanks cstreu, we did find the campground Follow the River in Florence, IN (by accident) and think that it will be great for our rally. I have already worked with Emily at the CG and booked the rally. Since it is very new, there is very little shade but the clubhouse will be perfect for us. It is somewhat far from attractions but I think that we will have a great time there.

The lack of shade is the only real downside. The very back row does have some shade though. Back side of the lake would would have your passenger side facing east to keep you out of the afternoon sun.

Come to Ohio and check our Cross Creek RV and campground. Just north of Columbis. Wonderful grounds, clean nice meeting area and easy to get to. Lots to do for everyone.

Thanks, MCTroy. We have stayed there many years ago. I had forgotten about Cross Creek. We will check it out for a future rally.

Sounds great. A fall rally with the state park across the street would be great. We will watch for updates since we try to attend rallies near us like Tadpole and Holmes Co. In the spring.
