Pat & Jen: In going back over some of the past CVSP forums, I see you made it to Ross Park and the zoo there. Were you able to allow Heather to ride the carousel up there? Or was it under re-construction at the time?

Here is a website you may be interested in for this year's rally and things to do during "free time" on Saturday!

If anyone has reserved the following sites expecting to join the rally, I have not heard from you yet. Your not officially registered for the rally until you contact me with the site number.

Sites, 91,94,96,105,109,117,118,121,122,124,130,134,145.

These are sites reserved according to Reserve America website. These could be individuals not involved in the rally.

Just a reminder we do not have sites set aside for us so first come first served.

Which ever comes first ,we get 30 sites reserved or the campground sites fill up with public non participating individuals, registration for rally will be closed

Using onboard tanks instead of water hookup.

During our final trip of season to Otter Lake, I discovered our 30g fresh water tank will last 3 nights for 2 people washing hands, doing dishes, making coffee, and flushing toilet for #1. Showers and #2 were saved for bathhouse. The morning we left, faucets started spitting and water pump making weird noises, we had emptied our fresh tank. I dumped 10g from a water jug down the toilet to flush out the black tank after the initial black tank drain. 30g black tank was only 1/3 full according to indicator lights, and grey tank was full up by our last morning.

I usually bring a fresh water tote with me so if anyone during the rally needs to borrow it they can to help refil their fresh water tank. It’s only 5 gal at a time but three trips your at half a tank.

nice offer rmac! Walmart sells the Reliance 7g water jugs, big blue cube, pretty cheap. I have 10g ones at home for emergencies, but they are pretty heavy full. The spouts on the Reliance jugs work well. Just got this little 2 buck doodad at Tractor Supply the other day to get the water from the Reliance jugs into the tank. Big bore, should be able to dump it very quickly.

Even the five gallon is a bit hefty to carry.

Zoo was cool, carousel was wrapped in chain link fence for the rehab.

Yes, we have a stable in upstate, close to lake Ontario. This time of year we stay pretty close to home as the animals needs more attention. We do most of our travels in fair weather while they are in the pasture and dont need us every day. Lets us spend some time away and we usually take the bike with us so we get to see some of the sites while riding. Othertimes we take the LQ horse trailer if we are taking horses with us. Looking forward to our first Frog rally. You can check out our website: Home (no g in rockin)

We have a couple of people who bring their bikes to the rally. Last two years we have taken a ride on Saturday on free time. Spdragon, tankmaster, and myself.

It is up in the air whether I will have my bike with me this year or not decision will be decided probably in June. We have had 4 Toyhauler at the rally one year.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. If any of you are travelling, be safe out there. Thankful for the friends we've made at the rally and camping in general. Can't wait for July!

To all our FROG friends on the east coast.... please stay safe!
We were in your shoes last week. Got 15" of the white stuff here, then had 55+ mph winds that just complicated things. The attached photo was representative of what we went through.

As a youngster we lived 2 streets off I 80. Very few times did it completely close due to weather.

When I lived in Maine nothing closed except for a couple of major blizzards where the snow was as high as the roof. My dad had to tunnel out of the front door. My dad said back in the 50’s there was so much snow that they took a bulldozer down the road to clear it.
