Caravans to Mexico - RV'ing in Mexico

Currently, I am researching possible caravans across the border and into Mexico. I have heard of a few that organize out of Phoenix. I would appreciate any information members might have. I am looking to get down to the Lake Chapala area near Guadalajara.
Does anyone have experience with RVing in Mexico in and around the state of Jalisco?
Please refrain from border town stories.

Checkout these two pages. Lots of good info about travelling and RVing in Mexico. The Facebook page is great for getting real-time info about things going on south of the border.
