We paid for gasket replacement, but still leaks. Also, none of the tank gauges are even close to working. We purchased end to end warranty, but everything is our responsibility .
I can only speak to what I saw done last year. Once registration opens there will probably be a service request form for download too. Last year you could request service for up to 5 issues. At the rally the service department called you to set up a day and time to work on your rig. The work was performed free, no charge for parts and no charge for labor. Free!

What they’re not going to do is rebuild an RV so you and sell it or trade it in.
By the way, tank gauges are notoriously inaccurate so don't expect miracles.

Those meals not provided at the Rally or on a tour, would be your responsibility. Some groups hook up and do a pot luck between them! Some head to town and experience local foods!

keep in mind this rally isn't going to give you free service on everything on a 13 old unit sold as is. Keep in mind the factory takes into consideration how old your unit is when approving your repairs. I'll let Frog Bob explain further but some things you will have to take care of on your own and expense. Otherwise what's the point of buying a new unit if I could get free repairs on stuff that wears out over time on an old RV. Just my two cents worth but I would expect many limitations of what will get serviced this year as way too many only attended this rally for free service and nothing else. It's actually really sad how many people have gone overboard with this and risks having this rally cancelled at some point if Pete retires.

I got the newsletter and tried several times to sign up for the International Rally but can never find the link to the reservation site. Has anyone been successful? Any tricks on getting to it? Thanks.

I reread the newsletter and now notice it says it will open Tuesday. I need to read things closer in the future.

Get rid of the free service or reduced it greatly and attendance will drop 90% in my opinion. Very unfortunate that many folks abuse it. I have bought a new unit every year and paid the price to have something new and its unfair to service "OLD" units like new because people didn't take care of their unit or just rely on taking advantage of this rally to restore their old unit with free service and parts. It's one thing to fix items on units up to 5 years old but after that you should be on your own and expense. Absolutely no incentive for folks to buy new when they just go to this rally and whine and cry to get free parts and service on stuff that absolutely is worn out and out of warranty long time ago.

For the folks that truly don't abuse the process and truly go to enjoy the rally with fellow FROG's, hat's off to you but you are the tiny majority. Very SAD indeed!!!!

$475 (price of the rally) ain't exactly free ya know.

Tim

I'd go service or not!
As a matter of fact I have a brand new unit that needs no service!
I'm going to meet friends that we met at the second international rally !

I would agree! The friendships out weigh the service aspect. Maybe I will the brand new unit like Turbs did last year! You never know...

I thought this thread was the countdown to Goshen. Not a chat area for off topics.
128 Days until Goshen
