Disk Brakes Vendor at Goshen?

I was wondering if anyone knows if there will be a vendor at the Goshen Rally that will install Disk Brakes. Would sure like to get this done. Was a Quartzite last year, but the would not install at the BLM land I was staying on. Oh well maybe this will be the time foe it.
Thanks to anyone who may know of a vendor.

Joe

I had performance trailer braking install my disk brakes. They came to my house and installed the brakes in my driveway on the camper.

Thanks Spock, I will check with them. Hoping a vendor might have a deal on them. I need 6, so any savings I can get will be great.

I also had them put brakes on our CC 36CKTS, the brakes are wonderful and a big plus for RV. Performance did a great job and good people to work with.

I think it was Performance that was in Quartsite. I will see what they can do in Goshen.

It was $2750.00 at my house. The best money I ever spent on the Cedar Creek

The price difference for the do-it-yourself kits are $400-$600 more for triple axle over dual axle setups. They don’t publish installed prices but probably not much higher depending on your location.

Don’t fret about the cost...just do it. How much is it worth to reduce your emergency stopping distance by up to 50%?

If you are good at brakes and a little mechanic work, you can do it yourself. I’m not. I could have saved a thousand dollars if I had did it myself but that’s outside my pay grade. They say on there website they will walk you through the process.

Please let us know what direction you go and who you use. Disc brakes have been on my mind for a while and I've got a really long trip planned for later this year...

I put disc brakes on my boat trailer. It was remarkably easy to do. These were of course hydraulic so not sure if electric actuated brakes are more complicated. Disc brakes are for sure a better option.

Before the disk brakes when I was getting close to a stoplight I would start slowing down early, I didn’t know if I could stop or not. With disk brakes I can stop now. I can stop in less distance than a car can. Disk brakes are awesome

I am going with Performance Trailer Brakes. They will be in Goshen at the time of the rally. Talked to them and have it all worked out except I have to pay and the will set a installation time. Was going to do it in Quartsite, but they could not do it on BLM land. Only took a year and a half to get to it.

Will be the BEST $$ you spend on your RV. They make a huge difference in stopping ability. Major increase in driver comfort knowing that you can stop in less distance than most other vehicles on the road.
