Elkhart Fairgrounds

When I called Goshen earlier about early arrival, Bev made me aware of an address faux pas on our FR Rally form. The following address is across the street from the rally site and should be used: 1819 East Monroe St., Goshen.

That is where we went in last year, all the important stuff for the rally is right around that entrance.

You should be able to south bend has cbs (channel 22) NBC (16) PBS (34) abc (57). In Elkhart Fox (28). I have friends that live only a few miles from fairgrounds and only use a small indoor amplified antenna and get this channels. I live about 20 miles from there but closer to the bend and get those plus some out of Kalamazoo mi in my trailer at home. I do have the wingman installed

Usually when we travel, we look for off leash dog parks near where we are staying. Our beagle boy has a lot of energy to burn. I looked it up and the only dog park I can find around Goshen is a membership only park.

It occurred to me that the fairgrounds probably has fenced in animal pens. What would we need to do to be able to use one of these pens to let the dogs loose? And is there anyone else that would be interested in pursuing this with me?

We would like to see an off leash area too, since Bella will be traveling with us.

That would be great to let both dogs burn off some energy. The American Eskimo is still a ball of energy. The Pom could care less.

Thanks. That is still 25 miles from the fairgrounds. (50 round trip) We might be able to make it once or twice during the week, but don't plan to do it everyday. I will pursue seeing if there is somewhere on the fairground that we can use for this purpose. Besides, it would be a good opportunity to spend some time with other rally goers that we might not otherwise meet.

Just noticed its 71 degrees in Goshen this evening. Might have to pack some sweats .....so now all we will see is high temps. We'll be ready either way.

Send a message via Skype™ to Boots49
Does anyone happen to know if there is a phone number we could leave relatives at home to reach us in an emergency while at the Ralley in Goshen?
Thanks
