Good news! Two Tails Ranch is having their fund raising weekend the weekend of our rally. Entrance is therefore $10.00 per person (not $20.00) and kids 2 and under are free.

I am getting quotes on catering from two places for BBQ chicken, pulled pork, green beans, coleslaw, and baked beans. I hope that menu suits everyone.

Time is counting down and I for one am looking forward to it!

Update on those attending. I spoke with Gail at Williston Crossing RV Resort. One person just cancelled, but another signed up. I am capping the number of rigs at 19, so we have space for two more to sign up. If you know of anyone interested who is dragging their feet, please let them know that they need to register ASAP!

Williston Crossing has invited us to participate in their wine tasting on Thursday, September 17th at 5:30. It will be held at their Gristmill, which is next to the pool and pavilion. Bring a bottle of wine for the tasting or other beverage of choice. The Meet and Greet will be held at 7:00 in the activity center. Don't worry about all the details. I will provide itineraries for everyone and hand them out when you check in on Thursday. I just let you know ahead so you can plan to attend And bring your wine, if you choose. The countdown is on!!! On week from tomorrow!

CampingGator, Any suggestions for the POT LUCK SUPPER? And do we need reservations to the elephant ranch?
Thanks. Can't wait! See you all next week.

My husband and I are going to bring a meat - not sure what kind yet. We will probably bring a side dish as well, such as veggie or salad. Just put what you would like to bring on the forum for now so we get a variety of dishes. Ideas include potato or rice dishes, casseroles, dessert, appetizer, meat dish, salads, etc.

I spoke with the ranch a week or so ago and we do not need reservations because they are having the whole weekend open for their fundraising.

I'm sorry. I just read the resorts rules - no fire rings or fires at the sites. We have a Big Green Egg and sometimes roast marshmallows, etc. on that.

Phil, I spoke with the campground. They have a fire pit at the gazeebo but it is currently closed. They did say if somebody has one of the portable fire pits with legs that one of those could be used.

Only three more days!!! Getting close! We have left our time together pretty open, and other than Friday night, have not planned many activities during the get together's. If any of you would like to do something particular, or are willing to plan a game or other activity, please let me know. We also thought that having an open house would be nice. If you are willing to show off the inside and outside of your RV, please let me know. We can set aside time to tour units, if you would like. This is YOUR rally and we want to do things everyone will enjoy. Also, if you like to play games, feel free to bring them to the get together's. Anyone who wants to play at the end of the evening can then play. We have the activity room or pavilion until about 10:00 each evening.

The only evening that beverages (tea and lemonade) will be served is with the catered meal on Friday evening. At all other activities, please bring your beverage of choice - water, tea, soda, beer, wine, etc.

I will provide itineraries when you check in on Thursday. Kevin and I are on site 311. I will include our cell phone numbers on the itinerary so you can reach us during the weekend.

Found this on Amazon. Might be a good purchase. It only weighs about 15lbs, the legs fold and includes a cover.

Order with prime membership before midnight and it will arrive Wednesday.
