Florida FROG weekend June 7-9th

My wife and I are thinking of hosting a central Florida FROG meetup on the weekend of June 7-9th and want to find out the interest of the members. If you are interested, please reply with a Central Florida location by This Sunday, and we will confirm the weekend and location Sunday night and start a new thread for confirmations! Remember we want a campground with plenty of availability.

We will start the voting with Lake Kissimee State Park

Maybe they're intimidated by your shark! Or your ruggedly handsome face.

Would Williston Crossing be to far North? Nice campground and friendly people.

ROFL, the shark is cool We aren't available that weekend The location sounds pretty good tho. How would a SP work out for a rally? I guess we'd have to agree and all go on RA and go for it?

That sounds good. We are booked in July, but what about August? In your experience, whenwould be a good time to start planning something?

We don't really have much planned after May. I'm up for trying some new places ~ when I've chatted with your better half it sounds like you guys usually go north where we usually go south so we'd love to try some new places. No matter when you plan it somebody will miss it so just go for it and see what happens

Our camper is going camping without us for the 4th of July but we could visit somewhere....... I know several families going to Sun n Fun that weekend. Have you guys been there? It's more resort than campground but they do pretty good specials and have lots for the kiddos.

We're going to the Keys for 4th of July. See? We DO go south! We'd like to try Myakka or Lake Manatee. We've talked about staying at Lake Manatee... every time we drive by to go to Hunsader Farms. I think we should stay there when they have their pumpkin festival.

I have never heard of sun n fun. What is that?

We usually go north within a couple of hours, however are going to fort desoto end of June with some friends and to the keys 4th of July week. Any thoughts of a campground for end of July or August to try to put something together? Weeki Wachee?
