Looking forward to the rally and seeing everyone. All of the sites there are pretty nice.

We are registered, or rather re-registered. We actually booked a site when I first started this thread. So we called Monday morning and had them note that we are attending the rally.

Interestingly, they have two reservations with our very unusual last name!

I think we have a site number, but the DW left that at home...

Ok so I have been on this forum for a few years now and we have owned our camper for a few years but we have never been able to attend an event due to that nasty W word. We are planning on making the trip from IN to FL for this event (and to get to warmer weather). What can we expect? What are we in store for? Tips, advice ect? Wife is suppose to be making the registration sometime today.

By March things warm up nicely without much humidity most times. This will be our first Frog event to attend in FL. We spend every year near there in last of Dec and first week in Jan. The camp ground is large and so is the dealership. You will meet a lot of nice Frogs and FROG will be providing two buffet dinners and breakfast every morning. Look forward to meeting up with you. I'm sure some other folks will chim in with some good info. Later RJD

So I am thinking ahead to next years rally at Lazydays. (Yes, I really do plan that far ahead!) To participate in the rally, I know you must own a Forest River product. No problem there. But do you have to camp in your own unit? I see where there are rentals at the RV park. Would attendance be allowed by owning, but not bringing, your own Forest River trailer. That would make it a lot easier to attend. Just asking...

In order to attend you need to bring your camper. This is the reason for have Frog rallys. Yes you live a long way from the event but so do a lot of other folks. It's like the international rally in Goshen in order to attend you need to bring your camper as many folks do from far and near. I hope that you can attend next year. Later RJD

I'm calling tomorrow to see if they have any slots left for the FROG Rally. Just live across the state and have been wanting to get to Tampa and Lazydays for a look around.

Not exactly right. If you are a Forest River owner but can't bring your unit, you can use a rental from the dealership. What you CAN'T do is attend in an RV other than a Forest River or affiliated brand, or attend if you're not a Forest River owner.

We just had someone in Kissimmee from upstate New York who was concerned with safe travel given the weather in NY and down the east coast. We let them come and rent a cabin at Sherwood Forest given the circumstances.
