Frog Peach Rally Georgia 2017 ??

Ok folks: Had a lot of folks asking if I would consider doing one. Well after consulting with Frog Bob I got some good insight to try to pull one off. Now the question is how many folks maybe interested? Looking to do around Helen GA. Looking to do around first 2 weeks in June. I'd like to do between 35 to 40 rigs but would consider more if interest is there. This may coincide with Mayberry to do every other year. Let me hear your thoughts. Later RJD

Sounds good to me...at least I won't be waiting for our RV to be delivered! There are a couple fair sized biker events you don't want to overlap with since Helen ain't that big...

They have several bike events from spring to fall. Most weekends will have a Harley Owners Group (HOG) or some other club in Helen. It is close enough to the Tail of The Dragon to be a good base camp.

The Helen Chamber of Commerce, or whatever they call their tourist management folks, should have the dates for the larger events. Here is one resource, and Here is the City of Helen website. Here is the Convention and Visitors Buerau calender, it is probably the most complete resource.

Oktoberfest, which usually starts in September, is the worst for crowds.

I've been to many biker events in Helen. They really aren't that big a deal and shouldn't be any problem.

And, oh yes, I'm in for it.

At some point during every day you suddenly realize nothing else productive is going to happen the rest of that day. For me, it usually occurs around 9 am.

For us it would all depend on the dates as the wife is near the end of the school year in June, of course I have been known to travel without her...just saying????

Subscribing. Helen is a neat town and camping there would be cool.
