It’s official!
Frogtoberfest 2018 is officially going to happen!
October 5th - 7th check your calendars and mark the dates, come spend a few days with us and enjoy the sights and sounds of Amana Oktoberfest.
Once again Amana rv park is excited to have us!

On Saturday there is a Brat Eating Contest. Possible wheelbarrow provided to return you to your chariot. Any volunteers/foodies? I have to go back and get my fix after missing last year....

Once again... If you EVER entertained the thought that you would like to try out a rally to see what they are all about, this is a great one to make your first one. I myself was curious about rallys, but also a bit apprehensive because I am not much of a people person. But we gave it a shot and now we are up to doing 3 a year.
Frogtoberfest is a very laid-back, relaxed atmosphere. My first rally, I didn't even get the jacks down before I was greeted by people I only knew from the forum with hugs and cookies. Coupled with the fact that one of the most authentic Oktoberfests you will find on this side of the Atlantic is going on just a mile or so down the road is icing on the cake.
There is absolutely no reason not to make this your first rally.

Check out Forestriverfrog.com and click the events tab. Look under Frog events, trips and rallies. Registration may not be open just yet as they are still buried under 10 feet of snow. Check back often until registration opens and sign up. Do not miss this event or the activities in downtown Amana on Friday and Saturday.
Unlike smaller rallys, this is not a size limited campground. Plenty of sites and no rig is too large or too small. Post all your questions about the rally here and I'm sure you'll get multiple responses.

I just made my reservation for Oct 3-7.
Call Amana RV Park at (319) 622-7616 and make your reservation. Cost - $37+tax with a 10% discount if you pre-pay. They will call you starting September 1 for the payment.
