Getting service to RV by FR Techs

Both our A/C's don't work, outside kitchen taps need to be switched so that the hot is on the left and one burner inside on cooktop won't start unless manually lit. The last two repairs I am sure that the FR Techs can handle in Goshen. But what about my A/C? Any idea if I can expect them to fix this there? I don't have enough time between now and August 4 to drop our unit at our dealer and reasonably expect them to fix it (which I believe may need new units) and still have the unit back in time to go to Goshen.
What kinds of repairs do they do in Goshen and any idea if they can fix our A/C???
Thanks in advance,
Cathy

I suppose it depends on what is wrong with your air conditioner(s).
Am I right that BOTH your air conditioners are acting up?

There is power, they both turn on and appear to function at a distant glance. We were away this past weekend. It was 78 degrees outside and inside the RV it heated up to 89 degrees. We turned the A/C on for the first time ever since getting it. The main A/C in the LR works but inefficiently as after 5 hours on full blast it went down to 81. The bedroom unit keeps cycling on and off frequently and doesn't cool. It is more like a big roof fan-a very noisy one at that which is a common complaint with these.

And yes, hubby has checked the brakers. Unfortunately that is not the problem.

Changing the hot & cold water lines is an easy fix, just shut the pump & city water supply off, remove the faucet assy and switch the lines. Usually doesn't even require a wrench/pliers.

Our furnace has not worked since we bought our rig and I am requesting it to be repaired in Goshen. We had a mobile tech come out but they couldn't tell what was wrong! I hope they can fix it in Goshen too since our dealer is several hundred miles from us! I sure hope Goshen can handle your repairs too! After all....they ARE the experts!

I'd be surprised if you need the furnace in August. Now that doesn't stop anyone from spooning....but I'm guessing it will probably be hot. Guess I'll have to drink a lot of cold bevvies to help cool myself!

Sounds like a plan!! I'll get my Coors Lite, zero gravity chairs and shades ready for watching them work!

Looking forward to Goshen. Never been to a rally before. Sounds like Bob has a scheduling nightmare with upwards of 300 units arriving with probably 600+ people. Lots of fun new people to meet

Cathy, we're going to have folks there from Dometic and several other component suppliers, in addition to Forest River factory techs, to take care of issues like this. Please use the service request form (page 2 of the registration form) and send it to me, and we'll get it into the service mix.

We could try? Maybe everyone form a really really big circle (just like in Kindergarten) and everyone say their name one by one...we might be done in 6 days!

Hey Bob. Two days ago I emailed you a scanned Page 2 service request all filled out. Do you need me to resend it?

Get your request in before heading to Goshen! That way they have plenty of time to make sure they have the needed supplies for your repairs!

Cathy, I'll check when I get in on Monday to be sure I have it. I know I have one that was scanned as an e-mail rather than as an attachment, and I haven't been able to reduce it to print size, but I can't recall if that was yours.

If you want to re-scan it and send it as an attachment, or take a smart phone photo and e-mail me the photo, that will ensure that I have it.

Thanks Bob! Just took a picture of my request for service with my phone and emailed it to you again. Hope it works this time!
