Activity thought:
Please also note if you would be interested in a ghost tour. I was thinking http://www.gettysburgghosttours.com/tours.htm
The Live or Die Tour - The Live or Die Tour focuses on human interest stories of REAL Civil War soldiers! At the start of this tour each guest will receive a card bearing the name of a man who fought at Gettysburg. During the course of this candlelit walking tour, led by a period dressed guide, guests will be immersed in the history and hauntings of a specific Union or Confederate regiment. At the conclusion of this unique tour, our guests will ultimately discover whether THEIR soldier LIVED or DIED! Enjoy a truly personal Civil War experience like no other...join us where history and mystery come together! Cost is $9.00 per person 12 years and up and $5.00 per guest under the age of twelve. Group rates for ten or more guests is $6.50 per person. Tours are at Saturdays 7pm and 8:30pm during the Spring, Summer and Fall.

Ghost tour needs to be reserved by June 1st so I need to know if you are interested. I need to give a rough count closer to the actual date but if I could get a running count going that would be helpful.

Tour Total as of 4/14: 20

It wouldn't have to be but so good to be better than Artillery Ridge.

That's kinda what I had heard. Never been there myself... and it doesn't sound like I ever want to change that.

Very Nice Campground

We camp there every Halloween. We have approximately 20-30 sites each year and have been going there for 5+ years. Robert and his staff are great people!

We were there last June for a week and it was very nice. My only issue was that the sewer hook up for the adjoining site was right beside our picnic table out the door. Rather unpleasant but no place to move at the time. I am so sorry I am not sure of the site number, I think it was 17 but cannot be sure. Otherwise, nice place, convenient, nice people, good security.

Hello Brian,
Sorry to reply that we will not be attending the Gettysburg rally. The date doesn't work out with our work schedule unfortunately. Hope you have a great rally.

BKbuilds. Did you ask FROG Bob to add your rally to the FROG website calendar? Was looking at site this morning and did not see it listed?

He is traveling at the moment, I have been in contact with him though. I'm sure it will be listed as soon as he can.

Awesome DieselBobcat!

FYI: I'm waiting for a call from the owner to speak with him about a meal location. The guy working the office couldn't commit the pavilion to us saying "If we have entertainment scheduled that would bump us". I asked if there were other options and I was told the owner would have to call me.

Frog Bob gave me some suggestions but they were off property. So I want to exhaust all options of getting a group meal or two on property first.

I spoke with him as well regarding the pavilion. Took site 82 to be in line with the open field and pavilion in the event we can do some group meals...

Was thinking along the lines of possibly doing pancake breakfast if it works...we can discuss further once we get a handle on the number of members attending...

I would hope we could have the pavilion at least Saturday morning for a pot luck breakfast. Then maybe along the side of the playground along the line of sites where you are for a dinner Saturday night or something.
