That must have been in the "Big Boy" area. Out where us "sweaties" were parked there was just muddy grass. No wood fires there (propane OK).

Wide open space in the infield area but I would still check to be sure.

I would check but it was my understanding last year that propane fire pits were okay if it was done on blacktop or concrete pathways or road. Anywhere else and it wasn't allowed.
Keep in mind that majority of attendees are parked very close together in grassy fields with temporary utilities so burning with wood would be very unsafe.

They keep us (or you keep yourself) so busy that by the time it comes to fire pit time you are ready to turn in any way!

I think it was the "Midnight Golf Cart Supply Co" out and about after 2039! Tiki Hut repair had to wait until the AM as "many unsteady hands do not make light work". There were traditional firepits in the FHU section near the gate on the "other side" where I was not allowed (go figure) but the last night I snuck in and they had FREE BEER!!

You had all ready left and it was the left over beer from the party that they had for the service techs and Leo found us and even gave us the beer and the container it was in. In fact I was in your campsite at that time

Yep! The beer cart can down Tiki Hut row trying to unload it just like the Good Humor truck. I took my share.
