If you are planning on catching fish in the pond at Chenango Valley State Park good luck. My husband and I have camped there several times and never got a bite. No luck when we tried fishing from our canoe either.
We wondered who got site 108 as that is our favorite spot.

Last time Cath and I were at Chenango I limited out two days in a row. Those are only stocked trout, not big, but fun to catch. That was in 2016.
Sorry to grab your spot, but we said if we ever came back we'd get #108. I'll buy you a beer (or wine) to make amends.

Ron, no runway lights needed, our site is 2 skips and a hop from our socialization shelters/impromptu swimming hole.
Cboss, hope your fishing skills are better than Jean's! I LOVE bbq or smoked trout!

Kris. Just making sure individuals that may be contemplating if they are going to attend see how imperative it is to commit to coming. Also we do not have sites blocked out for us so first come first served.
Once the campground sites are sold out and we have not reached 30, we are done and starting waiting list.
