I dunno why I only get limited FRF updates from subscribed to threads but I am in on the RV Crawl. I lead a boring life so having folks visit would be exciting! LOL! The weather patterns have been awful but I am still getting out a bit. Already have 11 days on the road. Pic is from Chippokes SP in VA last week.

Getting into thinking of logistics. Last year I set up two of my two 10x10 canopies and Krispyk had one that we used to cover picnic tables fore eating and gatherings. This year we have double the people. Do any other attendees have any portable canopies that they are willing to bring for the CAUSE?

We were camping this weekend at state park in pa, and an airstream group had two of those portable car canopies that the set up to use.

As time is getting closer I’m starting to think of things. I will probably have at least 2 maybe 3 10x10 portable canopies. Same as last year the food and coffee will be on tables by the camper so we have electric for crockpots and such.

Even though the weather does not feel it May is right around the corner.

I have a 12x12 but may bring a 10x10 instead. And a spare table.

I have a spare 10x10 in the shed unless Carolyn sold it at her last tag sale.

That sounds great!!! We had about 18 people last year and this year I think the number is 52 or 56. So we more than doubled.

Thanks to everyone who offered to bring one.

Hopefully the weather we had today will stick around. Too bad I spent the day doing fixes to our house to get it ready to go on the market!!

No not fultiming not old enough yet for retirement. Downsizing and getting out of HOA. They keep going up on the fees, and now that our kids are out of house we do not use the amenities, pool, tennis court, parks, lake, and etc.

Don’t need three bedroom two baths, family room and living room for just two of us, plus I want a garage!!!

When we get this one sold we will stay in camper until we find what we want. Either build small cottage and big garage or find small house with garage. Don’t want to pay taxes on square footage I don’t use.

That's funny. I did think about that, just didn't want to say it...

Good luck hopefully you will find something soon. Staying in the same area or going somewhere cheaper? I hate hoas they are the biggest pain in the butt..

Somewhat same area, Adams, Franklin, Cumberland Counties. Still commutable to Harrisburg, but still affordable tax wise.

It has been very quiet here lately. How has everyone been doing, are we getting ready or what? Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I am 90% complete on de-winterizing. All l I need to do is turn on the LP, check the stove/oven, turn on fridge and make sure hot water heater is running. I also want to run some more fresh water into the fresh water tank and flush the lines one last time. I sanitized the system real well and just want to be extra sure I got all of the bleach out although I did it already. (OCD is kicking in I suppose) Going out for first trip of the season Memorial Day weekend if it doesn't snow of course.

Added our rig to the camper crawl (site 113 )

We are going to the Brass ring Rally as well as the Gettysburg Rally, and then this one looking forward to all.

I had to take a emergency vacation two weeks ago when we had that week of summer weather around here, explained to everyone at work that we had to go camping for a few days to make sure we were ready for the rallies

Happy to report all went well !

You will have a great time at all and will see how all of them differ a little bit from each other.

Hi everyone, just checking in. We had our first camping weekend over Mothers day and even tho it was raining a lot we had a great time. After trying to light hot water on gas and it not working I remembered I had that problem last trip out last season and forget to look into it. Found board for ignitor had fried. Dealer gave me a new one and I'm gonna put it in later today. Hoping it will be covered under warranty but time may have run out. Other than that not much else going on. We are going to be at Jellystone Park in Bath, NY for Memorial weekend with at least 4 other campers in our group.

Amazed at our numbers for this event this year. Great to see so many FROGS interested in joining us. Look forward to seeing everyone. Have a great holiday weekend everyone!
