We are Ken and Terry Edick, and are excited to be the new organizers for this Rally.

If you have registered for the Rally, please note that while we've been supplied your name and assigned site number by Rideau Acres, but, we were not given email addresses or contact information for the attendees, and therefore do not have a total headcount and names for each site.

We've sent an email from kenedick01@yahoo.ca to any of the GMAIL addresses we had, but, are not sure we've captured everyone. So, please reply to us with your email and travel phone # so that we have the means to contact you. Your information will not be shared publically, we just want to be able to contact you should the need arise.

April 11 update for Kingston Rally June 15-18

Wow!!!

As a result of an email we sent out yesterday from a list provided by Rideau Acres, we've heard back from so many of you, we lost count.
Some of you may be contacted by us if there's info to exchange.

For everyone else, and I do mean everyone else....even those that are still thinking about attending...

The cut-off date to register will be May 15/17. As of today, we have some 75 sites booked, and that leaves some 30 sites still available in our "Rally Zone" area. Great numbers to party with.
Call Rideau Acres Kingston directly to book your site, and don't forget to mention you're with the FROG Rally Canada 150.

Highlights for the rally.....

3 nights camping (included in Rally Fee)
Meet and greet Thursday and Friday afternoons (Host site 43 Ken and Terry)
Two breakfasts (Banquet Hall) (included in Rally Fee)
FROG sponsored Saturday Dinner (Banquet Hall) (included in Rally Fee)
FROG member seminar presentations (ideas/topics accepted)
Information pamphlets for area activities/tours (Host site 43 Ken and Terry)
Anything we've missed.......visit (Host site 43 Ken and Terry)

HESN22, thanks for all the links. Your link to the 1000 Island Cruises is for Brockville. The cruise boats out of Rockport will be a better option since they start already in the area of the islands and its a short trip over to Boldt Castle if you have your passport.

http://rockportcruises.com/

Upper Canada Village is a very nice attraction. I do recommend it but rally attendees should be aware that it is a 1.5 hour drive down Hwy. 401 so it would be an all day trip.

Itat....

I tried Holly's link for the boat cruise....it took me to the Rockport Boat Cruises in Rockport along the 1000 Island Parkway like we discussed and agreed earlier.

Am I missing some re-direct?

I've ordered pamphlets to hopefully be on site at the Rally.

Hi ... the first cruise link is for 1000 Island cruise ... the 2nd last link in my post is for the Rockport Cruises ... they are both there ... giving people options ...

But thanks for providing more info re Boldt Castle and the requirement for passports ... all input appreciated.

Cheers
Holly

Ken, I'm getting redirected to "http://1000islandscruises.rezgo.com/" (notice the rezgo) which appears to be an online reservation website for "1000 Islands & Seaway Cruises" out of Brockville. So I Googled "Rockport Boat Lines" and found their website at http://rockportcruises.com/

Working on the Rally Itinerary...still fine tuning.

Hey everyone.....

A lot of you are asking for the details of what will be available for things to do at the Rally. Be aware, as with any good gathering, you can't do it all.

Please be patient, we're putting things in place to let you know day by day of the FROG get-together in Kingston. Outside of what will be scheduled, with attention to trying to make sure there isn't too many things in conflict, be aware that the Kingston area and Rideau Acres offer tons of options.....

See the link which Holly posted recently again to any number of tourist interests nearby. If you see an item of interest to yourself, please review the links to see the details.....paying attention to our Rally dates June 15-18.

As for what's available at Rideau Acres itself, check out their link

Rideau Acres Campground | Kingston Ontario

Under the heading "Our Campground" click on "Activities". Some members have already asked about golfing, hiking, canoeing and kayaking. Something for everyone will be our theme.

Stay tuned here....and as Arnold used to say......"Awl be bock"

Somethings to chew on.....April 14/17

Take a quick look on top here, you'll see a quick survey for Kingston attendees.
Simple yes or no decides it before anymore decisions.

Then, in the same vein.......

I've already got volunteers to do information sessions or seminars during our get-together.

"How to stay safe and secure in an RV park WiFi"
"Readers Digest of Everything you need to know about FROG Goshen"
"Tricks and Tips about anything RV"

Any other topics from you out there??? You too could become famous.
