You just never know who you're going to meet along the way....even at a campground in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia.

We really enjoyed meeting you too Steven and apologize for having to head out so quickly.

Looking forward to spending more time together in Kingston.

Welcome aboard Eva and Al. If you scroll back to postings around the beginning of the 300 count, you'll see some of the discussions so far. If you've got the time, start even farther back.

We were all newbies at one time, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Now that you've found this spot, watch it frequently. In the very next few days we'll be laying out the day by day itinerary for this Rally. Suffice to say, nobody can do it all, but you'll be in the company of a lot of people to try with.

Looking forward to meeting with you, and prepare to meet some new friends to share the good times.

The hour by hour activities will be unfolding on any given day. All we have to do is throw an idea out to see who's in.

Even in the last few days we've been getting updates of people changing their arrival dates, so pot lucks will be happening.....just not sure how many and where because the official Rally dates are/were June 15-18.

Some, including ourselves are arriving as early as June 12, and not leaving until June 19.....so there's enough numbers to schedule pot luck Sunday June 18.

No one wil go away hungry

Hi Ken & Terry

Thanks for the itinerary! Getting more excited every day. Hope this rain stops some day. Don't want to be camping under water!

Hi Steve & Sue...

Be prepared to party with a fun bunch.......and there's a few from down around your end of Lake Ontario too. Don't ask me who they are, but there's a lot from area code 905 West of Toronto and beyond. You may find some friends with like interests right in your own backyard.

Hoping for drier weather than we have right now and some great camping times together.

Hello Brian & Pat....

Get ready to have a great time. There's quite an assortment of people, rigs, and activities to look forward to. You may even find new friends who live right in your backyard from your end of the province.

Everyone stay tuned here as we start the countdown!

Rally cut off date next Monday!!!!!!

As mentioned some time ago, the cut off date to register for the Canada - 150 - Rally Kingston is coming up on Monday May 15....just a few days away.

I'll be contacting Rideau Acres for the final count according to their registry and let you all know....but our attendance will be over 150+ people.

From information I've gotten from those attending...we will have quite the variety and selection of Forest River products. And if some of you out there are as diseased as myself, there will be more mods and fixes to see than you can mark down.

BTW....our headcount for the Rockport Boat Cruise is just over 100 people too. Seems FROGS can never get enough water activity in their diets.

It officially all starts 5 weeks today....but even sooner for some of us.

1000 Islands Boat Cruise proposal

A hundred or so FROGS have said we're in for a 1hr Rockport Boat Cruise at a group cost of $16/person including tax.

Distance to Rockport from Rideau Acres is 50kms or 30 miles one way.

I've researched a possibility of having School Buses transport us to and from Rockport. For 100 people they've quoted $4/person including tax. This would be a deal even if people car pooled to Rockport.

Would anyone be interested in a total cost of $20/person including tax, for taking in the tour and transportation?

If I see enough interest I guess we'll need a group email again to confirm this new proposal.

Buses to Rockport

Hi Ken and Terry,

It may be worth a vote. Nobody will get lost and miss the boat and you will have more time to visit and admire the scenery ( especially if they get on the Parkway at Gananoque). It would be worth $4 to us and I'm sure many are from away and would enjoy the ride.
