I think I have you all beat for German food. Both of my parents were from Northern Germany, and I grew up on German food. I've been there 3 times. The first time was in 1948 during the Berlin airlift. On one visit my cousin was celebrating her wedding anniversary plus the end of the Kegeling (bowling) season and there was a party on their farm. We had just arrived from an overnight flight at 7:00am (Hamburg time) and were a little tired to say the least. Long story short, there was an endless supply of home made schnapps, when your glass was half empty they filled it up again. DW kept falling asleep. Glad cousin Max was driving. We were staying with him on the West side of Hamburg.

Thanks for including me in your birthday celebration. 65 seems a little bit over the hill to me but I can still be "a babe at arms" . love to celebrate and this year will be a first in the mountains and with fellow FROGS. See y'all soon.

Yep BOOBOO23 I would have to agree. I use to like driving in Germany, all the houses all over the countryside different colors it was great. I remember all the cobble stone streets and the underpasses that I thought I would never make it under with my load that I was carrying, either a bulldozer or a load of building materials....

If I was choosing I'd avoid I-40 if that is the way your going to Asheville. To hilly and lots of curves. 85 better shot just plan to ether leave early am to avoid rush hr traffic in Charlotte or wait till its over. Get off at exit 173 in GA (Layonia Hi way 17) to Helen. Later RJD

thanks, my coworker is from the NC mountains and mentioned it might be a bit tough going the Asheville route on the backside of Asheville. Guess we will fight our way through Charlotte.

Y'all know it's no secret I don't do mornings, that's why I do most of my mod work at night.... seriously though we will likely plan to leave around 8 or 9 that morning.

This rally is full, you can try contacting RJ (aceinspp) by email or pm to see if you can get on a waiting list. You can also check out the FROG Website to see if you can still get into any other rallies. They are all popular and many fill quickly but there are still seversl that aren't full yet. they are opening the registration for the big factory rally in Goshen in April but last year it filled within a couple days or less as it is extremely popular. Hope to see you at a FROG rally in the future.

As Others mentioned room at both rally's in Canada still also the Frogtoberfest has not opened yet and will soon. I know RJ had a pre reg and the Rally filled quickly, very popular area. There is Bamaganza as well, closer to the south. Check out that as well.

FROG rallies seem to be popular in every location any more. You need to check almost daily to find out when their registration begins. Most will fill up their site allocation in just a few days. Check for local Tadpole rallies put together by FROG members, so go to the FROG web site and click on "Events" and while you are there get signed up for membership, it's free. http://www.forestriverfrog.com
