Pre-registration complete. But I have to admit I am concerned about the 50/30 Amp rule. My camper only has one option - 50 Amp - I think? If I drive to the campground without knowing whether we will have a 50 and then we don't, we have to turn around and go home????? Is there another option for my camper I don't know about? Do I need to purchase a 30 AMP power cord? Will the female end for the 30 AMP cord fit the same trailer connection? Are cord connections the same for 50 and 30 at the camper connection?

No, if I understand it correctly, when you book your site, you will tell them you have a 50 Amp rig. They will not reserve more sites for 50 Amp then they have. From what I understand they will not let a 50 Amp trailer adapt down to a 30 Amp site. If you call on Nov 1st and are told you have a 50/amp site, you will have a 50 Amp site. You just won't be told your site number until you arrive.

I don't understand how a 50 amp unit, using a 30 amp dog bone can hurt anything? Your still on the pedi stall 30 amp breaker, I have never heard of this in all the years I have camped. But I don't own the CG either. That is really dumb in my opinion

I agree WD. Never saw that before. My coach is 50 amp. We use a 30 amp adapter lots of time. Always at home ?? Look like a 30 amp plug be a 30 amp plug. What it matter to the pedestal what it does 15" away??

I'm sure they must of had something go wrong at some point ??
