Lake Livingston - Onalaska, TX KOA, June 14-16

Made reservations for the weekend of June 14-16 at the KOA at Lake Livingston. Our reservation is in the Tall Timber section. We'll drive up on Friday morning and set up so we can leave the dog in the A/C in the V-Lite while we go into Livingston to have lunch with new friends, then back to the RV park in the afternoon. Leaving Sunday. This KOA is right on the shore and has a small store and a full service restaurant so we may not have to leave the property. Let us know if you'll be in the area. We'd love to meet some more FROGs.

Is this for the "free night" thing they do every year? I think we're going to miss it this year. Just too much going on. But we usually try to go to one of the KOA's every year (Dad got us hooked on it). Last year we went to the Rusk KOA and they had a Mother's Day train ride with lunch. It was an awesome trip.

Who knows...we might see you there. You never can tell.

Definitely not free, Ed, but $38/night less 10% with their advantage card gets us a pull through space (important to us newbies) wide enough for our 3 slides with full hook ups plus wifi and cable. Come on up and join us.

We're hitching up tonight to get an early start tomorrow. We want to get set up and get the A/C running so we can leave the dog in the TT while we go out to lunch with the Escapees group in Livingston. Stop by and say hello if you're in the area. It's a pretty good bet that'll we'll be the only V-Lite at the Lake Livingston KOA this weekend.
