Good advice, I have been under a vehicle a few times also on the shoulder of a busy highway, but it's usually almost impossible to move over. There is no shortage of morons who if they are in the passing lane and see that you are attempting to move over due to a disabled vehicle or LEO, speed up and block you. I run into it almost every day on I-70 here in PA. I am certain they now teach offensive driving in high schools.

I know you're gonna fix it because you had the tranny rebuilt recently, so did I. Almost $5k for a custom built towing 4R100 with a 23 qt total deep finned aluminum pan.
How goes the repairs Cow?

Dropped all the shrapnel... er... 'pieces' off at the driveshaft guy this morning on the way to work. He said the slip yoke and rear flange are good. Splines on the shaft are 'iffy', and will probably have to be replaced. Rear Yoke on the shaft, and front flange are toast. The tube "looked ok" on visual, but he will chuck it in the machine to check for run-out. Right now, I'm looking at about $400 which is about what I expected.
There's not a whole lot of Diesel Excursions in junkyards for me to scavenge a shaft off of. Exy's have their own wheelbase, and diesels have a different shaft than gassers. I asked him how long to make it good, and he said, "probably tomorrow". That shocked me. I figured a week or even two.
Tim

Karen and I had a great time! Thank you to Gary and Joyce for putting on such a great event! This was Karen's first rally and she enjoyed it very much! Met some friendly new folks and enjoyed visiting over the campfire. Can't wait for next years rally and the eclipse rally later this year!!

Hello all,
I am not sure of the lady's name that stopped to asked me about my awning poles, I believe that they were from Troy Ohio or somewhere around there, I believe that they were in the Windjammer. I told here I could get a link to show how they are installed, here is the link to the facebook page with the photos.

it is the first post on the page that has a picture tutorial.

Y'all are relentless. By the way it was Tim Brown that called me "waterboy", but he was just upset because I told him I was going to win the cornhole tournament, and I did!
