Waiting to see which parts of I-75 and 275 will be closed. A lot of construction going on in my area. Not sure on route yet.

Nice little CG @ exit 180 on the PA Turnpike. Just stayed there this week coming home from the factory. I'm keeping this as somewhere to stay when we are east/west bound on top!

We stayed there this past weekend. Very nicely kept campground. Ally wasn't kidding when she said there are hills. I will be reserving a golf cart today. Plus the fact that we are in site 50 which is in the back of the CG, we don't want to have to use the truck to transport food/stuff to the shelter.

Not a whole lot to do for kids, just a couple playsets/swings.

We went in to Mt. Airy on Sunday. We wold have gone Saturday but we had people visiting us. 75% of the stores are closed on Sunday. If you want to go and enjoy the town, Saturday is the day. Lots to see in town, Andy Griffith museum, the jail...everything that has to do with Mayberry. Neat little town. There are a lot of great places to eat as well. We will most likely head there Saturday after the breakfast to check more out...need to get a pork chop sandwich from Snappy's!!

Just spoke with Travis at the golf cart place, ours is reserved. He said I'm the 3rd one.

On Saturday mornings they also have a live bluegrass radio show in the old theater downtown. Pretty cool. And it's okay to enter or leave the show at any time without worrying about interrupting anything. Highly recommend it.

Just to clarify some confusion. All rally activities and camping are being held at Mayberry campground. There have been a couple calls to the golf cart outlet thinking the carts needed to go somewhere else.

We are up to 4 golf carts. One more rental gets the individual price dropped more. Prices were based in number of carts rented.

Mjones12 I had seen an old post where the Bluegrass show was during the week as well, like on Thursday starting at 6 or 7, do you have a way to confirm? We are coming in on Wedbesday hopefully to catch the show. Have attended a couple of open mike shows in AL, they can get to be pretty enjoyable.

With this jam session, would the majority prefer the wine/cheese to be thurs or Fri? I'm flexible on that.

Really doesn't matter to us, however on the potluck thread it shows it on Friday. We are also flexible, I can open a beer anytime..

Just saw on the news, I -275 closed on sb side from 696 to 5 mile rd. will be closed until July and then they will close the nb side. I -75 has construction in monroe county but moves pretty good.
