FROG Bob and I have chosen to limit the numbers due to size of facilities and ease of organizing the rally. We had a very large number last time and it was anymore than was comfortable for the pavilion and a lot to organize on my part. We will be keeping it to 35 sites.

Hello all! I know I have been MIA for a bit due to work responsibilties but thought I would let you know that I am still making rally plans. I have set up a group rate for golf carts with golf cart outlet in Mt Airy. Rates are number of golf carts rented dependant. for 1-8 golf carts it is $100 each plus an $80 pick up and delivery fee to be divided amongst those renting golf carts. For greater than 9 golf carts rented, it will be $90 each plus a $160

The terrain is hilly so if you think you don't want to be walking any kind of distance or hills you may want to consider a golf cart. The only spots that won't have a hill to get to the pavillion are sites 16-31. They are on the same row as the pavillion. Sites 2-12 are somewhat close to the pavillion but do have a little hill to get to it. All other sites are a little distance to the pavillion and quite a walk if you have difficulties getting around.

Please pm me or email me to let me know that you are renting a golf cart. This way I can have an idea of how many are being rented.



On edit: make sure you contact the golf cart outlet to reserve your cart.

FYI- for anyone looking to still be added to the waitlist (meaning I have not yet communicated with you); the waiting list is now at 22 rigs!!!! This is in addition to the list of who is currently in the rally. Wow, I guess this is really a popular rally. Thank you everyone.

Hi, instead of a golf cart, can we use our truck to go back and forth to the pavilion

You can but it does get crowded if 30 trucks show up. .

I’ve had my first cancellation. I am trying to contact to the lucky First runner up on my wait list. If they turn it down or don’t answer then I will begin to work my way down the list. Watch for either an email or voicemail if you are on my waiting list.

Yes it did!!!!!!!....great news tonight in the Martin house...proud to get that phone call!!!!!!......690 miles from NE Arkansas to Mount Airy NC, but anxious to see that part of the country....will be calling the campground in the morning and claiming that site....
