We hit site 78 between 6-7 pm, all depending on how much the man keeps us down today.

I would recommend having chairs and drinks set up to watch us park.

Cant wait to see folks.

You all be careful traveling today. It is HOT. And don’t do what Ace110 did. He brought along a big T storm with lots of wind and rain. Click image for larger version

We will have the cameras ready for parking wars. We may have to mute the audio!
I have lost faith in the weather forecasts. There is no rain forecast for several days, so bring an umbrella.

I am bringing my electric imitation portable campfire with me. No way in Hell (pun intended) am I'm sitting around a real fire in this weather.

Granted, my fake fire does take forever to get your s'mores just right. Small price to pay for avoiding heat stroke.

You won't need any heat source for cooking....we just settled into the site directly out your front door and were "Smoring" off the bumper of the camper.

If possible please bring some cloud cover and a 5 mph cross-breeze please.

Cooler in Florida

Hope the convoy made it in safe. Must still be sleeping.

It would have been cooler to camp in Florida. While you guys and gals are waking up to 77 degrees, we are at 71 with a forecast high of 89 today.

Stay safe and keep hydrated before you go out.

Ice cream is GONE, Cowracer provided campfire is cooking. Local restaurant really appreciates our frequent visits as well as the winery enroute. Click image for larger version

Dinner at the mini-rally. Had steaks and cheesy potatos and Caesar salad and baked beans and 3-bean salad, and derby pie and brownies for dessert. And if course, ice cream in the evening.

All in all... a pretty enjoyable trip. Think we are gonna do it again next year.

After RJD leaves this morning we're all going to have a group breakfast then go downtown to the railroad depot and ride the Illinois Central over to the antique train museum.

He left because his brain was still on eastern daylight time and the man just had the desire to travel. Maybe he's afraid of getting old if he stays on one place too long!

I don’t know that you can say “...all left..”, as six of us just got back from a great dinner. Now enjoying the cooler temps (76*) an the rain drops on the roof. Even predicting a low of 74* tonight & high of 79* tomorrow. Anyway Joyce & I had a good time & enjoyed meeting everyone (& even an OLD friend, RJD), & the impromptu dinner was Great! Save travels to everyone. Will at least to some of you at BamaGanza.
