Mini Rally July 19-21, 2019

Mini FROG Rally

We have a small group of FROG’S going to Whittington Woods CG, in Whittington, IL, July 19, 20 & 21. I have seven sites reserved for this unofficial FROG get together. If you are interested, please call the campground and request one of the sites reserved for Tom deGuehery. I want to limit the group to about 8 RV’s. You may also come earlier or stay longer if space is available. I will arrive on 7/17 and depart 7/23.

There are no planned activities, but you can expect we will gather for dinners and perhaps a campfire. Also, there are things to do in the area.

Whittington Woods is a nice, clean, quiet, CG with level sites, fire pits, full hookups with 50Amp, and trees. Back-in sites are about $35/night and pull thoughts about $39/night. They accept cash or check, and will take a CC but they add a 3% fee.

Something tells me this is a Mini rally but not of the Cooper variety.

Mini Rally

Not yet. I guess folks are waiting for warmer weather to get up their camping spirits and make plans.

Thanks, looking forward to meeting everyone. We are going to piggyback another stop at Reelfoot Lake SP on the way up. Another spot on the bucket list. Looking forward to the weekend of fun. See you there.

I asked politely, but she offered no specific site #. Said they prefer to move campers around if the rig size dictates. Ok with me as I'm on the "Mr Tom list". She seemed excited to have the group coming.

I'll take care of this. There is one more pull through site, #60. The other sites are back in. There is lots of room to maneuver. Any preference?

Roger Dodger boss, thanks for the follow up. We will load up the Riviera Redneck 'Git Down Kit' and head your way in July.
