You mean stagger? Never seen you walk straight yet without someone holding you up.

FT TURBS, TOWTA wants to know how many naps you took at the place where other people work today to be able to stay up this late?

I'm heading down I95 for a short distance and picking up I16 to I75 straight up through Atlanta & Chattanooga. It would be further if I went up through Asheville.

OC I don't think it's a bad idea in fact it's nice of you to do or think about, but I think probably everyone owns a set of your brackets or poles, now rocking chairs boards your talking....If anyone has a rocker they need them boards.....

I-75, I-71, I-65, then may take the parkway down to I-40. We'll see how the construction goes. I will say, there is a lot of construction north of the city and I-65 in KY.

You don't really want to go through Asheville, I have never been through there without some accident holding things up. I can get around it but I would have to drive 100 miles or so out of my way.

When we were coming through Nashville on our way to FL, I-40 had some major construction going on between the city and NS. It wasn't on our route, but signage said it was down to 1 lane with major delays. Hopefully that will be cleared up some by rally time

I haven't had any trouble on I40 the dozens of times we've traveled it except one time when a delivery truck caught fire and blocked the west bound lane just west of Asheville. Lane was blocked for about an hour, but that was several years ago. We did run into traffic congestion 5 miles west of Asheville this last Labor Day coming home in TOWTA's old junker, took us 45 minutes to go 5 miles. Other than those 2 incidents, have no trouble.

I hear you Glenn, but I'd rather go through Asheville than Atlanta! I'm dreading that part of the trip.

We will be 734 miles (1174KM) via 402 to Sarnia/Port Huron, I69 to Indianapolis, I65 to Nashville then I have to rely on 'that woman' in the GPS and she does not always get it right. Where to stop over is the next question?

Seeing as we're also crossing over via Windsor, what route were you planning to take? Others have reminded me of the construction on i75 in Ohio and I'd like not to get stuck in it.

However, if i75 thru Ohio is not a problem this is how we'd go: i75 to i71 to i65.

Only place worse than Atlanta is Houston. Both are nightmares even not towing.

I know the feeling. ONSTAR has taken us some crazy places lately.

Well, Washington, DC is definitely in the top 5. Chgo only makes the top 10 unless you're coming from Green Bay or Milwaukee.
