[QUOTE=TURBS;842783]Give me a 9.6 hour head start would ya!

We show 13 hours but with the last week of July being prime travel we could stuck at the Border for 3 hrs. Two days for us to get there.

It is 3 degrees here today and Snow in the air and Grouplle yesterday as well.

Hoping the bridge at Sarnia is opened, one span is closed till July they say but did not mention when in July, we usually leave early and cross about 6am while it's dead.

How far out of the way otherwise if you take a secondary route?

If we had to go the other way 'Windsor/ Detroit' distance wise there is not a lot of difference but traffic wise there is.

Shoot yeah gang! with any luck we will all pull in and it will be a 'tie' and then time to break out the BVTC!

(We are taking a 1/2 day off and rolling out of Huntsville at 1200 Thursday - should be there by 1500 barring any unforeseen traffic!)

Whoever "Wins" is responsible for setting up a table, bringing out the first bottle of BVTC, cups, ice and Pepsi (diet & regular to accommodate all tastes )

If we do make it, looks like almost 12 hours for us coming from home. But I was just in Crossville Tn. for a HDT Rally and did the drive in 2 days so it's not to bad and I found a decent campground with large pull thrus that I can stay hooked up if I want to.

YOWZA!!! Bob, ya'll may win the 'furthest traveler' award! - How many days do you take to get to Nashville (and are you then coming up to Goshen as well?)

Well, if I was traveling like guys do, yes. But, add the DW and 2 furry buddies, all the best plans become useless! So, I'm thinking 5..... She's my map reader, so , it could be 6.

Mapquest says 2200 and change....... ( DW would have to be talked into Goshen........ that's where you folks come in.... at Nashville ) I had wanted to go to Goshen in the first place, but a few folks I bs with say there not going......doesn't mean we won't meet more. The number of folks attending seems a little over whelming, and we haven't made reservations. In the old days, we'd just park some where else and hide in someones trailer to get in !!

I try and limit to 8 hrs max driving, add in 2 hrs for stops/fuel/dog stops/ etc I don't drive like some do. I use GPS as long as it routes me the way I want to go. DW has triptik from CAA.
