What does spiedie sauce taste like?
It's cubes of marinated meat—chicken, pork, beef, or lamb—skewered, char-grilled, and served in a hoagie roll or a slice of fresh Italian bread. The zesty marinade tastes a little like Italian dressing, and when it hits the grill, it caramelizes quickly on the outside and remains super-tender on the inside.May 30, 2017

https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2ckd2o - That's how it's pronounced. Don't need anything but soft italian bread, spreadable butter, and the meat. Longer you marinate the better it is

If I am not around - it has issues getting done sometimes. The same reason I became a ham radio operator - was tired of him wanting to do stuff and not doing it. So if I have to learn a little in the meanwhile, no biggie.

I figure if I'm buying stuff, I probably should know what it's for. I made the mistake of showing I can lower stabilizers. Now hubby figures if I want them down I can do it.

And salt potatoes started in Syracuse and have made their way outward...

Spiedies are GREAT! Put 'em on Italian bread from Roma's bakery on Henry ST.

Ron,

Do you have an “official” head count? Making truffles today want to make sure that I bring enough.

Thanks Jean

Yay! Nobody has booked my spot on Thursday (all other days booked), so I can get in earlier on Fri. If I leave in morning. Which never seems to happen.

I just sent out another email to participants. We are looking to do T shirts again this year. All the details are in the email. Please respond by email and not on this thread. It is easier to organize that way.

To get them by time of rally I will need orders by This Friday.

Thanks.

Ron
I didn't get an email about T-shirts (??)

I also NEVER get the notifications about new posts unless I post something. Just caught up on 7 pages of dialog! (Phew)

Heading in to CV on Thursday afternoon. Can't wait to see everyone again....or for the first time

Yeah it was quiet for a bit, so hubby never visited the forum. Now I've been having him login to make sure he doesn't miss anything.

Check you settings. I'm automatically subscribed to every thread I've posted on, which gives me an email of any new posts. The email gives you an 'unsubscribe link', which is useful when you are no longer interested in the thread, such as after the 461st person posts about what batteries they use, etc.

Sorry Jean, We started going into the office every day since July 6, 2021 for work,no more telework. I don’t have my rally info at work and was going to post once I got home.

Total amount of individuals last count was 47. So minus two that just canceled 45 is the count approx.

GertzMom. I sent to the emails I had on file. Maybe it went to spam I don’t know. I may have transposed some letters, I don’t have my sheet with me to verify email.

We do have a few extra t shirts, if you PM (DON’T post on this thread) your sizes I will see if those sizes are the sizes of the extras. Of course my list is at home but could verify latter when I am home. One more day of work/work before rally time off/work.

Truffles

Husband and I just did a taste test of the “ugly truffles” not enough coating and they are delicious. Have to hide the rest of this batch so they don’t all get eaten before the rally!

I always have instruments with me, and sound equipment. Not sure we can make a lot of music in the park without a permit, but we will have the means to do it
