Anne if the rocks are starving does this make them smaller to hike over? Or do the steal your picnic lunch?. LOL

Well, it's propane... so no electrical cord. But, now she's talking about bringing the air fryer. I dunno, it's "easier" to use, but scalding hot oil just makes everything taste better!

Love my air fryer! I've become averse to cleaning stuff up while camping (other than normal dishes/cookware, I hate idea of one use stuff like paper plates. Give a hoot don't pollute!), so dealing with oil and cleaning no es bueno! I won't even bring and set up a smoker anymore. I'm becoming a minimalist fancy pants.

Love our camp chef 2 burner stove. Bringing a big kettle and making salt potatoes on it one night.

We’ll be coming in on Thursday evening and are excited for our 2nd rally!
Wife is excited and is getting all the snacks and drinks ready since it looks like we’re starting the camper crawl (with everyone hungry and sober lol).
I’ll put in the truck our 10x10 easy up since I saw we might need it. Email me if we need anything else as I’m not always checking the forum.
Thank you for all your hard work Ron it’s greatly appreciated!!
Safe travels everyone

We've made it to Cleveland, where we've met with friends of ours attending the rally with us.
Raining to beat the band here, but since we will be visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, who cares?

We hit the road again tomorrow and should be in NYS by noon....

Can't wait to see everyone!

Bill and Anne

Had to ask my resident NY expert what the hell that is! She knew exactly what you are talking about, and described quite eloquently! I guess this is an upstate NY thing! Yes, Liz is born and raised NY.

Enjoying the updates, keep em' coming! You've been traveling all this time, I'm just starting to think of prepping! My MicroAir Soft Start just arrived yesterday, going to install it in the AC unit this afternoon. Won't need to run A/C on generator until later this summer enroute to OBX, but I'll be ready!!

Kris, you need to get out shopping more. Camp chef is a popular outdoor brand, they make all kinds of items, just not a NY thing.

Salt potatoes

Yepper salt potatoes are a New York thing
It was on the Syracuse news last night that an official marker has been put up just for salt potatoes. Workers in the salt mines around Syracuse are the ones credited with making the first ones.
Pack the rain gear as the weather forecast is for rain for the next seven days

Good news is forecast shows just a chance of isolated/scattered T-storms, so hopefully will be plenty of dry breaks too. And not hot! But very humid.

[NO VACANCIES]July 16-18, 2021. Chenango Valley State Park Rally (2020 Re-Do)

Shirley says I need to pick up the kitchen. I said I will on Wednesday, when it all goes into the camper!! Shows the rally is just around the corner. At least she hasn’t said anything about the piles I got downstairs waiting to go out to the camper. Click image for larger version
