It finally started raining about 4:45 this morning. We had a very wet spring early summer but the last month has been strangely dry.

I remember last year - from about the end of June to August - not one drop of rain.

This year? Sheesh we have had over 4" of rain the past week at the Redstone RV Park!

So far past two days 3 inches of rain. More on the way. and can you believe with all the rain we have had the lake is still 5ft down. Ya Bamaganza last year like being the the dust bowel. Later RJD

While I do hope that the Noccalula falls are not a dribble this year, I also hope we have good weather for BamaGanza!

But, yeah, Ace, we are a little soggy here in N. Alabama at the moment!

Last year we got lucky, they placed a burn ban the Monday after we left Nocalula. What's camping without a camp fire.
