Thanks Bob !! Looks like the temperatures may be nice for us this year. 70's for high and 50's for the low.

We spent a week at "Up the Creek" this past April. 3 miles out from the main drag in pigeon forge..out stop light 3 .. great place and lovely views.. no pool or clubhouse..instead you get a more Speer's Ted space.. many with patios and some even more upscale. Campground sits like in the horseshoe betweenTwo creeks!
I'd put it on return list pretty much any year.. unless you have kids and need lot of those activities.
What a beautiful place..hard to believe you're only 3 miles from the main drag in pigeon forge. DW and I are booked for a week at Greenbrier CG 2 weeks after bamaganza..its 8 miles out of Gatlinburg on 321(I think) and also between a river and a creek..
If your looking for closer to interstate coming in from sieverville to Pigeon Forge..check out River Plantation.. much larger park ..but has some nice sites back along the river...and tons of amenities and activities.
There are many others..but those 3 would be top of my list..if you want full hook ups. And some Smoky Mountain charm..
If you stay near Pigeon Forge and want to enjoy a snipit of the mountains. Drive (or bicycle) the Cades Cove Loop.
Breakfast in Gatlinburg?? Then experience Crockett! About 1 or 2 blocks before the main drag ends entering the entrance to the park.
Hopefully this may help..I'm sure others will chime in too!
Sorry we're having to miss the rally.. waiting on our truck getting back from repair shop from being bulletproofed!

Another great place for breakfast is in Pigeon Forge is Mel Dinner at Light #3, I think they make the best coffee ever, the food was very good and not to pricey.

If you have an auto or truck breakdown..I can testify to Carr's Auto service and Affordable rental cars treating me right.. they were a Godsend when my convertible broke down one fall vacation.

The rental portion was 24/7 as long as preceded by a phone call for them to meet you there. Did not take advantage of those of us ..not totally mechanically inclined!

Keep an eye out. We may be right next to you on the highway. We will be leaving from near Harrisburg, PA on Oct. 3, arriving BamaGanza the next day.

Anyone have a need for a set of OEM steps. These came off of our 2015 360 PDEK, replaced with Torklift Glowsteps. Used about 3 months. Make an offer and I will then to BamaGanza.

Tom we are hoping to be past Harrisburg by 0600 on the 2nd. Depending on how I feel I may just drive through to spend 2 days in and around the Gatlinburg area. Safe travels.
