Talked with Penny, our rally is staying on the same date, BLR , which is one of the larger parks that can accommodate us, has other rallys before and after ours. Having been there for 5 years, they have locked that week in for us. So here's hoping Penny can fix it!!

BamaGanza was originally set for 4-8 Oct because it coincided with the fall school break in Alabama. The reason was to attract more families with school aged children in an effort to expand rally attendance.

Also the 2 RV dealers who sponsor the rally had indicated the first week in October would work better with their demo/RV show schedules than later in the month.

Finally, like Texas, the current site of BamaGanza is obligated the week before for a classic tractor rally and the week after for the town's Halloween Bash

Just wanted to provide the backstory so people would know why these dates were selected.

Thanks Pennie, Steve is down to counting the hours before leaving out time. All the furbabies want to go to camper every time we go outside. Have a great quiet day and relax before the excitement begins

With more and more FROG rally's coming on stream there will be many
opportunities to attend one. It looks like BamaGanza and the Kerrville Rally dates are pretty much set in stone so it will have to be one or the other as much as I would like to go to both it just won't happen in the same year..

Good Point. I was looking over the rally schedule earlier this year and it is almost getting to the point where you can go from Rally to Rally to Rally darn near year round!

Hate to miss it but Mary and I are not going to be able to make the FROG this year. Look forward to next year and hope everyone has a great time as I am sure Pinnie has and will do a great job hosting. Enjoy all.
