Not sure how you are traveling. More interstate to come back north to 840. Over to I24 to north of Chattanooga, switch over to I59 south. Leaves about 8 miles of road that is not interstate. One thing issue is the steep grade at Monteagle, TN. About 6 miles of 5 percent downward grade. We travel this way each year to BamaGanza. Safe travels, we leave tomorrow Tuesday.

We're going south toward Birmingham then over to 59 to Gadsden.

From the Nashville area, no way would I go through Chattanooga. Just come south on I-65 to Decatur, Al. Get off at the Priceville exit on highway 67, which will run into highway 278 straight to Gadsden. A much easier drive.

Texas T is a "OK" RV Park right off of I-65.

Missed their route plan - absolutely X2 - going through Chattanooga is the "Long Way"

13 hours of straight driving other than fuel and breakfast. Spending the night in Rocky Top Campground in Tennessee and heading to Gadsden tomorrow. I need to call and see if I can get in a day early. Those Margaritas looked good!

Coming out of Nashville you do not even go into Chattanooga on 24, you run into I 59 to head south to AL. Just drove that route today however we decided to stay just out side of Chattanooga for 2 nights before heading to bamaganza. we only have to back track 15 miles west, to get on 59 south to Gadsden. Texas T Campground is fine for an overnight. It met our criteria... Pull through, level, quiet, grass for dog. 5 miles from Pilot fuel. See y'all tomorrow!

Ok, the bad news. Kim was not able to get wed and Thursday off. I will be coming solo Wed (with the criminals). No Kim, no Kimaritas. Her rule, not mine. She will join us after work Thursday. Also, she has assigned someone to be my adult supervision until she gets there.
