Oklahoma frog campout april

Hi folks.....We have made reservations at Natural Falls State Park In West Siloam Springs, OK. for April 10 to 14.
We have 9 sites blocked off for our group to start with and will add to that 9 as needed.
To make plans to join us please call the Park at 918-422-5802, let them know that you are with the FROG group and they will get you fixed up.
Bob Byrne the HEAD FROG has offered to buy dinner for the group at the Cherokee Casino Buffet in West Siloam Springs on Saturday night. We ate there as a group 2 years ago and if you go away hungry it is your own fault.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in April.

Joyce, maybe BobFidy could pick up a "to go" box and bring it to you in Branson. You just KNOW he can be trusted to do that. Or not.

Hi folks.....

Just a reminder of our April 10 to 14th campout to Natural Falls State Park near West Siloam Springs, OK.

We most all know that there have been International FROG Rallys.....but this will be the FIRST Oklahoma FROG INTERSTATEL Rally......if thats a real word. We have some of the long time FROGS signed up and also have some new folks from Eufala, OK, and from Ozark, Arkansas and Ava, Missouri.

We have 8 signed up so far. If we get to 10 we will be able to have a potluck in the meeting room at no cost to us on Thursday night. Saturday night we will be going to the Cherokee Casino Buffet for dinner with the fine folks at FROG and Forest River picking up the tab......THANK YOU BOB BYRNE.

Please keep Jim Page in your prayers as he is still fighting the good fight with some healyh issues. Get well quick JIm so you folks can join us.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Natural Falls in April.

As of this morning after checking with the folks at Natural Falls State Park, we have 12 rigs joining our group between April 10 to 14th. We have 7 couples that will be joining us for the first time, 2 rigs from Arkansas, 1 from Missouri, and from all points around Oklahoma.

Since we have gone over the minimum of 10 rigs in our group we will get free use of the private roon all day on Thursday for our use.

Nancy says that Thursday nite will be the night for our potluck, and I confirmed with Bob Byrne today that we are on for a FROG sponsered dinner Saturday night at Cherokee Casino's River Cane Buffet. That was really good year before last.

The park will still accept more for our group and they will get your rig placed as close as can be to the rest of the group.All of the spots in the campground are reasonably close anyhow.

We just stopped by Natural Falls Park on Friday on our way to Jasper Arkansas. No wonder this site was chosen, absolutely beautiful!!!!If our 1st granddaughter wasn't due to arrive on the 8th we would definitely be attending!!!

The Park Ranger still has a Frog cap on the wall, I think he must like you guys, he is the one that informed me of the upcoming rally, after I mentioned your rally last year.

Thanks for the kind words friend. They did treat us very well last year and we had a good time even thought it was blistering hot.

Congrats on that #1 grand daughter. Maybe you can break grandma away for our next outting.

I remember the timing of the last one, if no major weather changes in the next couple of weeks the temps should be wonderful this time. The area was getting a lot of rain and everything is looking great.

Still time to join in the fun of FROG OKLAHOMA at Natural Falls State Park week after next.

As of yesterday we have 13 rigs confirmed to join us at sometime during the April 10 to 14 timeframe.

Call the State Park and let them know that you are with the FROG Group and you will be on your way to a good time. .....and we promise it will not be as hot as it was in July 2011.

They say if there are no pictures it did not happen.....So here is to prove IT IS HAPPENING.

We have 10 rigs who braved the UGLY weather yesterday to start our weekend outing. Only 36 degrees this morning but at least the sun is out and it is warming up.....some.
2 or 3 more rigs expected today or tomorrow and even a newby in the park may join us for a potluck dinner tonight and the Buffet dinner at the Cherokee Casino on Saturday night.
The FROG hat on the wall at the park office is one we gave to the folks here 2 years ago when we were here in July.

And.....Forest Jump HAD to get in the pictures too.

Wish we were there. We just returned 2 days ago from a 4 week, 3200 mile trip around Az. and N.M. and have decided green is definately our color of choice. We fought a head wind for the last 400 miles into Texas but avoided the storm. I didn't know about the outing until today. Might have considered a detour on the way home but I think the cat and dog have had enough travel for awhile. Maybe next time.

Thanks to Forest River and F.R.O.G. 16 adults and 2 young uns enjoyed a GREAT buffet dinner Saturday night at the Cherokee Casino River Cane Buffet.

We had 3 couples who had to leave on Saturday morning and another couple that could not join us due to circumstances beyond their control. Folks from Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri toughed the wet cold start of the weekend and the sun finally did come out Saturday afternoon.

It did "warm up" enough for a rip roaring campfire Friday night and Saturday night and a great time was had by all.

We did a little recruiting in the campground and found another 5 rigs of folks that will be joining F.R.O.G. in the real near future.
