Oklahoma: Sooner or Later October 18-21, 2018

OKLAHOMA: SOONER OR LATER
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK
OCTOBER 18-21, 2018

FROGs will gather for a rally at beautiful Twin Fountains RV Resort in Oklahoma City, OK in October.

Come join in the fun, explore the history and excitement of Oklahoma City, enjoy the resort amenities, and share in the friendship of fellow FROGs. Visit the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Murrah Federal Building Memorial. Stop by the Paseo Arts District, the American Banjo Museum, or the only State Capitol Building with a working oil well on its front lawn.

You'll find out that Oklahoma is OK!

For details, check the photo below.

Registration will open on Wednesday, June 13. The details and registration link will be available that day on the "Events" link on the FROG website.

Hope to see you there!

Since we are in Oklahoma, thinking about doing this one as our first rally. Will there be other activities besides the shared dinner, or is the rest of the time spent on your own? Since we won't know anyone, not sure what to expect. I assume shared dinner is a potluck?

The shared dinner will be provided by FROG and Forest River. We might also add a potluck dinner or breakfast, but this one will be a meal, either catered at the campground or at another location, depending on attendance.

We won't be doing a bus tour because we wanted to keep the registration fee minimal. Trips will be carpooled or on your own.

Glad you enjoyed it, Lloyd and Kathy, as did we. I suspect that a lot of folks have no idea of the many great attractions available in OKC. Cindy and I just got to scratch the surface. We didn't get to see the monumental western sculptures along the canal in Bricktown, for example. The Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum is an absolute, and the Oklahoma City National Memorial, site of the bombing of the A. P. Murrah Federal Building, is still stirring and somber after all these years.

The Oklahoma City Rally was a lot of fun! So many great sites to see and although the Federal Building Museum was sad, it was still very tastefully done. Thank you to Bob and Cindy for another great rally!
