[Cancelled] Peach Frog Rally June 25th to 28th 2020 - Helen, Georgia

NOTICE

Because of ongoing public health and safety concerns,
and based on guidance from the CDC
and appropriate state authorities regarding public gatherings,
I’m currently reviewing the status of this and other events,
together with the hosts, the campgrounds, and others.

I expect to make an announcement on its status by mid-April
so that everyone involved can plan appropriately.

While we hope that the rally will be able to go on,
I will be making the decision based on my best judgement
regarding the safety and well-being of everyone involved.

Lets hope and pray things have settled down by mid April. Because of the Florida State Parks closing down this will be our first camping trip for the year.

On the bright side, fuel is going to be cheap.

By now most of you know the Peach rally has been canceled. The CG has taken care of canceling your reservations and no charges have been made to your credit card. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. As for the the T-Shirts orders I will hold off sending a refund till I find out if I can do a reschedule. All that have registered for this rally will be retained for a reschedule. Later RJD

RJ, you can always camp next to your house. A shame you are not getting the use out of your new Phoenix.

Hopefully the numbers will peak within the month and the rally can be re-scheduled. I imagine most will still want to attend if it's possible to re-schedule. Maybe a leaf looker rally.

I just ordered more SeaFoam to put in all my gasoline powered vehicles that are not getting used.

Yep Bill I only had it out twice and I was planning to go to Helen this month but all is shut down. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can do a reschedule as most folks msaid they would attend. Lets see what happens. Later RJD

RJ, even if you don't get a chance to re-schedule the Peach FROG Rally this year, you might still want to (and I would bet that most people would support this idea) order the t-shirts anyway. Just have one word added: Non (as in 2020 Peach FROG non-Rally). It would be a chance to support a small business that is probably hurting now, and would be a cool souvenir of this very different and difficult time.
