You do not make any sense at all,.where do I stand on your list, I would like to know, anything else has nothing to do with it. While I have no clear visibility on any of this, my reading of the post from the people who dropped out is: they had submitted the pre-registration form but had not called the campground to reserve.... So there really isn't an opening. Then again, I may be completely wrong, been there, got a couple gross of t-shirts.

Apparently there is some confusion to being added to the standby list. If you wish to be added to list you must let me know and not the camp ground. This has been mentioned several times. If I do not hear from you you will not be added to list. Later RJD

I think you are right by what you described SailorSam, but the opening came up from a person who already had a CG site. He did what RJD asked to be done, to let him know so he could fill the spot with a stand-by. My question is that I went on the stand-by list 10/17/17 per RJD see post #77. I would think that I would have been the first, being that date they had like 20 spots not filled yet and being I was there last year I did what he requested that people who have never been get a chance. I'm only asking how the stand-by list works. Not a big request, is it first come first severed or is just names drawn out of a hat like a lottery. I would just like to know. I have no problem with the other member getting the spot, but where do I stand was the question and how he handles the Standby list. I don't want a argument just an explanation as stated already....   PS: Still Waiting

Pretty sure the standby list was done the same as 2017. The pre-registration forms are time/date stamped when they arrived via email. The list is ordered based on that number.

Ace,
I didn't haven't a chance to call the CG due to being out of town for a medical issue. Things are good now and want to make sure I'm on the standby list.

I've been busy and forgot all about this.
I got my pre reg in and I guess I'll have to be on the standby list!!
I'll call tomorrow the CG tomorrow to see if I can sneak in under the wire.....

The email address is good as I have had 31 folks respond so far. I'd suggest checking your settings. If your trying to use the address here on the forum it will take you to other places that will not allow e mail to go through. I'd suggest open new e mail and then type my address in.
