We will also be awaiting your route suggestions as we will be at Anchor Down prior to the Peach rally after leaving The Amish Rally @ Evergreen.

Only 26 days left woohoo !!

Al, the routes you have selected (1A, 2, and 2A) will either take you thru some very winding roads (1A), or a long steep grade coming in to Franklin (2 and 2A). You may want to look at coming further South on I-75 and cutting across at exit 290 (Georgia route 20 --Canton Hwy) to US 19 in Cumming and go North or take Exit 312 near Calhoun and pick up Hwy 53 to US 19. I am sure RJ or some of the others near there will chime in.

As Bill mentioned these routes can be pretty hilly and curvery and sharp curves. Remember your in mountain country and taking back roads. If you look at maps they show routes being scenic. Later RJD

Al I think the best way would be to exit I-75 at Sweetwater to Hy 68 south to Hy 411. (This a good road and you bypass Cleveland, TN.) Do not stay on 68 past 411 worst road I ever been on. stay on 411 to Hy 76 turn left take to Hy 52 to Hy 115. This will take you into Cleveland,GA, Before you get to the town square take the short cut avoiding town. Street Name is Wiford Asher SR Parkway this will take you to 75 and straight to CG. Hope this helps and just a suggestion. Later RJD

RJ, have you been to the Track Rock Petroglyph site? Any guess on driving distance to see them?

To anyone else attending who is a geocacher, I plan on making some finds in the area. The petroglyphs and a couple other earth caches are high on my list of targets.

I hope the love bugs are gone by the time we leave. Had to clean them off 3 times during our trip this month to Myakka River State Park and Fort Desoto campground.
