Are you coming to the Peach Rally? We need to know how far you like to travel each day to determine your stops along the way. I looks like it is about 960 miles from Oklahoma City to Helen, GA. My suggestion is take I-40 east to Nashville to I-24 south. Take the I-440 bypass to miss downtown Nashville. On I-24 at Mount Eagle you will have a substantial climb to the top of the mountain and about a 4 mile 6% downgrade that will test your ability to keep the brakes cool. If you have engine retard on your TV it will be used, if not just take your time going down the grade. Take I-24 to Chattanooga and get on I-75 south. Take I-75 to Exit 290 in Georgia which will be Hwy20. Take Hwy20 east thru Canton, GA and about 10 miles east of Canton take Hwy 369 to Hwy 400 north until it ends and becomes Hwy 115 to Cleveland GA and in Cleveland take a short bypass (look for the signs) to Hwy 75. From Cleveland it will be about 7 miles to the campground on your right. Sorry I can't help with stops along the way since I haven't traveled that route before with a RV in tow.

I have seen good reviews for Tom Sawyer RV park in West Memphis if you want to spend an extra day or so there. It is right on the banks of the Mississippi River. That may be a good stop. You could go over to Memphis and visit Graceland if you an Elvis fan. It is a little pricey and a lot touristy. Or get some great BBQ in downtown Memphis. Check the RV park for suggestions. Memphis will still be about 2 days from Helen. You may want to check for some COE campgrounds in Tennessee for a one day stopover. Campgrounds around Nashville are a little pricey. I am going there for my Grand Daughters HS graduation the end of June and will stay at the Grand Ole RV park on the north side of Nashville in Goodlettsville at about $35 a night everything else is $50+ around there until you get further out from the city but most of them have poor reviews.

When you come into Cleveland forget the by pass and stay on 115. Just before the town square there is a short cut to 75 to avoid going around the square in Cleveland . Look to your right As you are coming into Cleveland on hy 115 there will be a street/Rd called Wilford /Asher SR parkway Sign is a little hard to see this is just before getting to the town square. Turn left onto this RD. This a short cut and run right into Hy 75. You will go through a stop light and just continue for about another 7 miles camp ground on your right. Later RJD
