I spoke with Mike on the phone. Looks like there is at least 8 on the waiting list so unfortunately not too likely that it would be worth a try.

Mike says he is finalizing the schedule and hopes it can be emailed out this weekend.
Basically Thursday has some social time around the fire in the eve at 7:00 so Thursday aft is free time depending when you get here. The tour Friday is from around 11:00 to 3 or 4 so the eve is free and Saturday the dinner and Theater Start at 4:30 so the morning and early afternoon is free.

Sorry to hear. Hope your results are better than what was just reported for Alex Trebeck. Best of luck to you.

Packrat48, wishing and hoping for the very best results in your battle with pancreatic cancer. There apparently is some large degree of success. I just read a report on Alex Trebek's prognosis, and he told National Public Radio just recently that he is in "near remission."

Prayers for your successful treatment.

DH is day 2 of chemotherapy. Going ok so far. Hope you’re fairing as well as can be expected. DH has multiple multiple myeloma. Hang in there fellow RVer. Here’s some beauty for you.

Weather Gods are smiling on Petrolia

Packing everything on board tomorrow, pulling out Tuesday morning, and starting our sightseeing travel over to Petrolia by Thursday.

Pretty close to perfect camping weather.
Low to mid 70 daytime temperatures, for our American FROGS.

Here’s the latest from the weather prognosticators

After our month long trip that started at the Tadpole rally, Our trailer NEEDS a bath. Tomorrow is bathing day. With a massive 125 mile drive from home to the campground, I've only got 2 Walmart over-nites planned!

Hope you don’t run into any headwinds to slow you down. Hate to see you have to spend a third night at the Walmart to be able to complete your journey!

Easy peasy temperature conversions

Celsius to Fahrenheit isn’t all that confusing if you just deal with the significant numbers. Canadians and Americans alike, we really can’t tell the difference in temperatures by differences of only 2 or 3 degrees.

0* Celsius is the start of freezing temperatures at 32* Fahrenheit
10* Celsius is sweaters or jackets temperature at 50* Fahrenheit (approx)
20* Celsius is room temperature and comfy at 70* Fahrenheit (approx)
30* Celsius is getting really warm nearing hot at 90* Fahrenheit (approx)

Below 0*C or 32*F.....who cares....it’s really getting colder fast.
Above 30*C or 86*F.....it’s getting uncomfortably warm/hot/humid.

See.....Temps in between are easy peasy to figure out.

Let’s get ready to camp! 🐸

Well we just landed back in South Western Ontario after a 1300 km drive from north of Lake Superior. Next adventure is the rally and we now have a very long 25 km (15 mile) drive to the rally.

If you were any closer, the tail end of your rig would be at last nights location, and the front of the truck would be at Petrolia.

Beautiful shot of the waterfalls.....where’s that?

We arrived here at Country View RV a few hours ago and taking advantage of the peace and quiet. ( We're the only ones here). We we're at the Amish Ohio rally last week and had a great time, but we can use a few days of R&R before Petrolia official kicks off.

Hope you have nice weather for this rally. We attended last year and lots of fun. Unfortunately had to cancel Ohio Amish and this rally as well as rest of summer plans. Started chemo last week. Hope to see lots of photos.

Hope you have some 🐸 decorations to mark our territory.....some people need a distinguishing identifier to know they’ve arrived.

We arrive tomorrow and looking forward to the fun times ahead.
