The furnace in our camper is sure getting a workout here in Florida!
Temps are in the low 30's (has even been into 20's) at night & we're seeing frost in the mornings. A lot of days, it's struggled to hit the high 50's or 60's. Days are getting better though. We're supposed to get into the high 70's & mid 80's later this week.
We sure are glad we're not still in the northeast for the winter though!

What a pretty, uncrowded spot! Was 5.6 F this morning, ugh. Burning last of firewood today. Home heating oil up to $3.70/g today, unreal. That's gotta be a record.

Mother Nature

Someone needs to tell Mother Nature to turn off the snow machine. Hopefully there is enough time for it to melt before the rally.

Western FROGs

Well, folks, the westernmost FROGs are FINALLY thawing out!

After a BRUTAL 48 hours of BELOW ZERO temps (Tuesday's high was "only" Minus 1 - yes... -1°), we are finally able to move around without all that frozen blood coursing through our veins.

We are currently in the process of packing up the camper (she's been in front of our home for the last two weeks) and getting ready to head to a warmer climate for a short time. Our daughter and her family moved to Florida in October (she got a GREAT job offer!) and we are heading that way to take our granddaughter camping..... can't wait for warmth!

And Kris: ALL the bugs that die due to colder temps are gone here. Should make for a decent summer for these folks....

We are looking forward to coming back here to Wyoming in April, where we will repack the camper and get ready to head east to see all of you at Chenango Valley.

Stay safe everyone!

Bill and Anne Zaczek

Safe travels! We’ll stay here in cold Michigan and hold down the fort. (But I think it’s finally going to start warming up a little here.). Can’t wait to see you guys at Chenango Valley.

Last summer I was in Cleveland on way home from Goshen. My brother-in-law who grew up there gave me the murder tour (at my request!), when back in the Danny Greene days things were pretty rough. If you didn't know who Danny Greene was, watch Kill the Irishman.

Bill & Anne, it's still getting very cold at night here, but looks like the bitter cold you just had is keeping away from us and is hopefully gone for season. Daylight Saving begins in 2 weeks and 1st day of Spring 3 weeks from today.

We have that one! Got it from a tech in Goshen last year!! Looking for a good spot on the camper for it now.....

Rpods get all the the cute frogs. And Bzac.

Now, now Kris: don't be jealous. We discussed how you could get your very own set of frog decals for your unit!
