As usual, FT Turbs has the story a--backwards. The cooler was under our awning when we went to bed. When we woke up, it was under FT Turbs awning.

I'll see if I can beat Turbs to an excuse:
1) Sleepwalking?
2) Alien abduction?
3) Ghosts?
4) The dog did it?
5) Ya did it yourself, you just don't remember?
Anybody else have some Turbisms they want to try?

When should we get confirmation of our registrations? I mailed ours by snail mail 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything. Have checked credit card and nothing on it. Has anyone received anything yet?

I don't know. I sent my 3 weeks ago electronically and I'm still in the same boat. Maybe I should have CC'd Turbs instead of only sending to Bob?

If you sent it to Turbs, you better start checking for "unknown" charges on your CC. Frog Bob can be trusted. The Iowegian scalawag? NO WAY!

We're on our way back to Indiana this weekend from the Louisiana and Texas tours. We'll be back in the office tomorrow (Monday, 3/24) and will start processing payments. Based on what I've seen it will take a little while. I'm estimating that we've gotten about 300 registrations by e-mail in the past three weeks, and I'm told that there's a mountain of mail on my desk.
We leave at the end of the week for Gettysburg, but we'll get payments processed and confirmations sent as quickly as we can.

That's because it took that long to find a bank that would honor it. Now, if Ms. Amy had sent it in, it would have been honored within a week like the rest of ours was.

If you do this, do you get parked in the area on your registration (e.g., PPST)?
Also...if you do come in Sunday, when do folks usually start arriving?
