Second largest attended FROG Rally
Just read in current newsletter that the Texas FROG Rally is second only to the Goshen rally in attendance...
WOW !!!! Way to go Dan and Lori. !!!!

Let me just say..... They cut us off this yr. at 75 units, and we have a waiting list! There is no doubt, if we could find a place that would give us 100 r more spaces we would fill them. Today we received a email asking for 3 sites, had to turn them away. Talking with Bob now about having a spring frog fling, so those not able to get in this one, can catch the spring one.

That's cool! Wish we could find a place that could give us 100+ I think we could fill it no problem. So we will have to start a second one, put not Dan and I personally..... One is all I can do! It's work! And we have yet to attend a rally! Hosting is not attending!! We hope to one day get to go to the Goshen rally! We might have to know someone to go to that one!!

Amana is the largest one-time event outside of Goshen so far. Kerrville has had two events and has blown away everything else except Goshen in total attendance. Oregon is closing in fast. Oklahoma has had smaller events but lots of them.

Lori....
Have u checked with Conroe KOA??? They have a huge CG and the Texas Boomers go there annually.... Surly all us Texas FROG's can find a larger place if we put our heads together....

I feel your pain as well about finding a really-really big campground. BamaGanza '15 sold out all the full hook-up sites and have 2 rigs that went ahead and registered for water/electricity only - if they seel out as well we will have 56 rigs and 8 display rigs from 2 local FR Dealers.

The problem with Conroe Tx is trying to organize from here, with Dan still working.Why can't we be rich! But we may have to do that to get the title of biggest rally!!

Lucky for us the amana colonies is having there October fest and there's tons to do in town!
We did organize a potluck as well as a cornhole tournament and deb "nuisance" hosted dog show!
Many people hung out in town during the day for all the activities, shopping and great food!

The Ferris Rally in Ontario was pretty large.130 people and 52 Units. We had a lot of fun and the BBQ meal on Saturday was spectacular. All while camping in a Provincial Forest with only Electric sites and 1 shower for the whole camp!

Frog-tober Fest is still the reigning champion for the 2nd largest in the USA for Rallys!!!
I think that Kerrville is a close 3rd. Enjoyed my self very much and we traded ideas for next years rallys....

Turbs, the Kerrville Rallies have been organized and hosted by Dan and Lori Stenholm from San Antonio.

Well............ We had 71 total (4 From Ron hoover.. ) He will not get our sites next yr! We Jennifer from Buckhorn told me we had 32..... Do I need to repeat myself?? 32 on the waiting list!! So technically we WIN!! We had about 6 no shows. It was amazing, loved meeting Deb(spy) , I didn't tell her all my secrets, and we may join up to out do Bob! Watch out Bob, we are coming for you!
