What Tim said! Good chance there might be a T-Rex sighting this year.

Seimper, I think you will enjoy this rally. There is a real upbeat attitude about it by the participants. Yes, there are some "tongue in cheek" posts by members and that makes it more fun when you get to meet them in person.
That was the case for my first attendance last year. Of course there was that nice lady in line in front of us that turned and looked at my forum name that I added to my name tag and responded, "Oh, it's you!". The DW did not get it, I took pause for my smile to get big. Not certain what kind of recognition that was but I smiled anyway...
Signed,
I should be ashamed...

I'm totally new to this. I just picked up our new 2018 Rockwood Roo 24WS last weekend and signed up for the rally. This is our first rally. Sounds like it's going to be a good time.

You picked a good "first rally" to go to. Amana back in 2015 was our first rally, and I really wasn't expecting much. It turns out it was about as much fun as you can legally have in Iowa. Get into town during the day, you will bump into FROG people all day long. Dinner is usually very enjoyable (both pot-luck and catered) and last year the after-dinner entertainment was stellar. He will be back again this year, so that's a very good thing.
Sitting around the campfire in the evening is actually my favorite part. Turbs' site seemed to be the hub of activity. The boasts and jibes and good natured ribbing fly around at lightning speed. One warning... Some of us loose our language filters after the sun goes down. There may be (will be) a bit of 'salty' language used.
There will be plenty to do, new friendships to be made, fantastic food, and just an enjoyable good time. I bet money it wont be your last rally.
Tim

Just read your post about the camper crawl.
I've never tasted jello in my life and would prefer to maintain that. Is it acceptable to provide shots of something else to those that are crawling or soon to be?

While I had thought about offering shots of Don-Q - that would get you wobbling !
I'm more likely to have samples of Motor City Brew Works Ghettoblaster or something similar.

This fat boy don't wobble. At my weight many folks are happy about that. You have my interest peaked by what you call "Motor City Brew Works Ghettoblaster." Might this be some sort of elixir for bad water?
